Cosy open fires, the food is average and the staff are lovely.
Thank you to Chris and Antonia for the delicious take out pies... and of course the Flagon of beer went down well! Super lucky to have The Kings at the heart of our village
Fantastic Sunday roast in a lovely old pub with a great garden. Excellent service, good value, and a good range of non alcoholic beer for me, including Brewdog. Only the coffee needs improving but everything else was so good we're still giving five stars and hope to go back with friends soon.
Delicious & clearly very fresh food; vast portions; lovely personable unhurried service. A really enjoyable lunch & highly recommended.
Fabulous pie take away, safe collection, easy heating instructions. All perfectly seasoned, perfect pastry, succulent meat, yummy gravy....10/10.
3 hour wait for the tiniest portion of undercooked new potatoes and tiny overcooked lamb chops. The portion size is more suitable for a 2 year old so make sure you've had plenty to eat before you come to this place. Staff is not welcoming, food is bad and overpriced, the view is the only thing that's good about it to be honest
You need to have at least 7 hours to spare if you are planning to eat something. They arrive at your table once every 3 hours, forget to take your order, forget to do your food, forget that you are even there... we are still hoping to get our lunch that we ordered today in time for breakfast tomorrow.
Good food, good beer and friendly staff. Lovely setting whether inside or in the garden. What's not to like?
