Me and my partner ordered OAP fish and chips for our parents & to say we was shocked when we opened the box was an understatement. I’m aware an OAP is a slightly smaller portion but our 5 year old son would eat more than what is in this box. We also rang to complain in which we told “F you what do you expect for £6”. Do not recommend what so ever
Such a shame the food wasn’t better. Average at best. But seriously slow service, 30-40 minutes for a simple fish and chips. Completely disorganised with orders being collected, delivery going out and customers in the shop neglected. Save yourself time, money and miles better food at the Village chippyFood: 1/5
Great fish and chips, super crispy after a 20min walk home. Generous portion, curry sauce is top tier. Would defo recommend if you’re nearby. Good value.Food: 5/5
Food was super overpriced for the greasy and undercooked food paid for: arrived when only one other customer was in the shop and it still took 20 mins to get our food. Bun for chip butty was stale and frozen still? and both pieces of cod were quite rubbery and the batter was soggy. Pretty sure he just reheated his chips anyways but they were still raw! Only accepts cash, and for two adults and small child came to £24.15! The gentleman seemed very rude and demanding to the poor girl working in the front. Safe to say I will not be returning!

My wife & I have been getting Cod & Chips from this chippy every Friday for as long as I can remember. We have always been well impressed & would give 5 stars for eveything, until now! Today is the 2nd time in 3 weeks the fish has had a strong smell of ammonia. We give them the benefit of the doubt 1st time, but no longer. In more than 50yrs of eating cod we have never experienced this problem on any other occasion. All online advice suggests the smell of ammonia from fish especially when cooked suggests the fish is not fresh & should not be consumed. Needless to say we will not be returning. A great shame & we are very disappointed. Parking: Parking spaces for about 12 cars, shared by 4 shops. Can be busy at peak times when it may become necessary to park in the street. Parking bays fairly "compact" & can be a tight fit for larger cars.
The missus brought fish chips home. They forgot my daughters battered sausages... and then I had a burger. The bun was STALE and burger burnt and cold we live 10 mins away horrible.Food: 1/5
