As recreational places go, it is an ideal place to visit with your kids, or grandkids and or Dog for walks etc. There are two play parks for the kiddies, fenced off and relatively clean. There are two or three doggy waste bins dotted about too. There is a good asphalt footpath weaving through the whole playing field from the Cressing Road end, to the Marks Farm Estate at the other and the back of the Braintree Rugby Club on the other. As parks go, it is very good but could do with maybe a few more lights along the pathways that are used often.
I live just around the corner to this playing field but never go there often. A sunny spring day a bit chilly and a nice time to visit. Not many people around and good to be in sunshine.
Large park with small wood on one side. Can be used for football games by local clubs. Two small enclosed play areas with swings etc for smaller children. Very popular with local residents.
The actual play area for children is good. Shame about the dangerously left car on axle stands being smashed up in the car park area.
Nice fields, the bigger kid play park needs an update, nothing in it really, and looks boring and dull, the smaller kid one is better but attracted older kids as the bigger kid one is rubbish
Great playing fields locally to walk our dog. The odd piece of litter and dog mess, but generally good.
It's always nice to go to this park just for a walk around peace and quiet
Yeah it has a good bench you can sit on if you want to rest
Lovely facilities for little ones to play in
Great open space. Children and the dog love it. XxX
