"A classic pub providing great food every day at a very good price. The pub has a homely feel to it and a relaxing atmosphere with both comfortable seating and two fireplaces. A large beer garden provides a great place to chill out in the sun or under the shade throughout the year. Enjoy great food and drinks all year-round."

Great pub with superb meals and lovely staff. Lots of room with comfy seating. Outside garden also spacious.
Lovely staff, food was great buffet.
Staff were good, food and prices good. Three course set menu £15 was very good. Atmosphere was excellent, we found Wednesday evenings was quiz night. Albeit we didn't officially join the quizers we had fun playing along.
Looks really nice, menu seems good but the atmosphere, the staff and food leave a lot to be desired. Not even a busy night, only 1 other table eating food and the bar staff and waiting staff didn't seem to care at all about our booking, we had to chase to be served and order food, the starters were nice but very simple and not what was advertised in the menu and the mains were a huge disappointment. My "signature salad" was so basic and unpleasant, it included raw broccoli which was so cold I was convinced it was frozen, I asked for them to advise why this was £10 for a small bowl of bagged leaves and a dash of sundries tomatoes, so she bought me a bowl of cold veggies and a small cup of dip, all of which were also not as it was advertised in the menu. My friends rump of lamb was over cooked and very tasteless. We waited for a while to be offered more drinks, and as no one came to us we had to ask for additional drinks, no one checked on us, we asked for another drink and the waitress looked at us like we were asking for her to pay the bill, she then disappeared only to come back with a pad for 2 drinks so we decided to leave and get a dessert of the way home. Won't be trying it again
The venue looks very nice and clean but, our table was sticky. Service was good but the food could be better. My seafood pie was missing some more seasoning. My mother in law had the Hunter's chicken and it was a bit over done. My husband had the gammon, and again it was tough and hard. Despite it, I will pay another visit and will leave another review.
First Visit to the Place . Monday Night so the place was quiet . I ordered 3 meals , plus drinks no problem . Staff seemed happy albeit on their mobile phones . Meals arrived quite quickly , it was obvious that both Duck meals were undercooked , so we asked for them to be cooked slightly more , no real dramas on this . Arrived back and just edible . The Gammon i ordered was just so rough and a strange pink colour and again undercooked with evidence of an egg placed on top , the meal was just honestly awful . £38 wasted , Who ever cooked this meal needs help . I would never go back to this place if i was asked .. avoid if you want good simple food cooked badly ..
Me and my partner decide to go for a pub lunch. We have been here numerous times and the food has been very nice. The atmosphere is lovely and chilled and clean setting. We looked at the menu which was new since last time we were here and the options were amazing. We both went for the pesto linguine with roasted tomato and sautéed mushrooms, I have to say hand in heart it was the best linguine I’ve ever had, lots of delicious flavour and colour. Will definitely be returning for another meal here, lots to choose from the menu.
Visited recently, very welcoming. Food was really nice. The staff went above and beyond for us. The lady with long dark hair, I think her name was tasha looked after us. Bonus points for having a free car park!
Visited last week with my family. Served by a polite blonde girl. Food was very good. Bar staff very attentive too. Great experience, would recommend.
To be honest drinks and starters were good but mains. 1. Took our order and the dish wasn't in 2. The mains we did get were cold and veg very undercooked
