Hey so I went to go ape .... had a great day thought I'd look on google to see where is good for a roast! Found this place.... the customer service was really nice very friendly staff! Nice welcoming asked us how our time at go ape was :) How ever when the roast came out the potatoes looked premature, they had no colure to them and was hardly cooked! No flavour at all, The beef was alright.... nothing great! The Gravy was like water.... this meal in general had no flavour! I had to take photos! The pudding was awful a crumble.... that did not have crumble on it... just oaks! It's a real shame because it's not hard to make some decent spuds! I'm more then willing to teach the chef if needed. We paid £30.80 for a load of ....... and won't be returning.

Very friendly staff, cosy pub, good craft ales, good hot food with dairy free options. Dog friendly, parking and well located for walkers in nearby Wendover woods which are easily accessible for example from Beechwood Lane in Wendover.

Our first visit. Friendly staff. I had crab linguine, which was excellent. Hubby had fish & chips which he says were good. Limited menu, but worth a visit. Will go again. Good portion size. Prices reasonable. Beer was nice too.
