Great selection, great staff and competitively priced. After getting confused online it was nice to be able to demo the products prams side by side and compare like for like and the staff are knowledgeable and really happy to take their time to help you choose the right features etc. Support local businesses and don’t just go for that bundle.

A very good selection of prams that you can try before you buy. Very helpful staff thank you Claire with practical knowledge to allow you to make the right choice with no hard sell.
We called the shop at 4.30pm on a Saturday and asked if we could pop by to view one pram really quickly. They advised we could as long as we were out the store by 5pm which we agreed to. We arrived at the shop at 4.47pm and was asked 'why are we here again' in which we replied 'we spoke to you on the phone earlier to quickly view one pram'. They said ok, but I think the lights are off upstairs. I assumed they would turn the lights back on when we walked up there but they did not. There were 4 staff members basically waiting with their coats on to go home. I am over 6 months pregnant and not one of them thought that going up or down the stairs in the dark may be a problem or asked if we needed any help. We quickly looked at the pram using our phone torches and left the store at 4.47pm 3 minutes before their ACTUAL close time. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We will not be buying one item from their store and would never, ever recommend them in the future. Extremely disappointing.
Brilliant local independently run baby shop. We purchased a few items from here as it was recommended to us. Claire was extremely helpful and informative and helped us make the right decision for us. Got all the advice we needed without any hard sale. Also got a good discount for the overall purchase. The aftercare is brilliant too. We had a small problem with one of the items and Claire handled it all on our behalf. She contacted the manufacturer and had a replacement sent out to us immediately. I can see why Kindercare came highly recommended and we too would highly recommend the Kindercare Southend and their friendly and very helpful staff. This is the place to go to get your baby items.
Fantastic experience shopping for grandchild's first travel system ...we were clueless but the staff were so helpful & knowledgeable about their products . We bought a system from them & we weren't under any pressure , able to take our time, try it out & play about with it to ensure it was the correct system for my daughter's use . Would highly recommend this store
