Best experience ever! Kim is so friendly, funny and all round lovely! I’m never going anywhere else ever again! Kim was so knowledgeable, patient and kind - talked me through her ideas and we even had a little dance together! If you’re looking for a seamstress who is the top of her game - look no further!
Kim is incredible! She altered my wedding dress and was extremely committed to making it fit perfectly. She spent so much time making sure it was perfect and we did around 4 fittings as she took it up and in a bit at a time to make sure it was how I wanted it. The material was very tricky but she worked tirelessly to ensure it didn’t even look altered! Thank you so much Kim, I’m very grateful! Xx
Reception wasn’t good when I asked the reason behind the pricing. Reducing the waist on trouser for £35 is out of this world. She became instantly defensive, raising her voice and said those are her prices and that If prices are set at Waitrose we dont ask why they cost that much. Thats utterly rude and I wont recommend. Just down the street, I paid £12.
Kim is great! She altered my wedding dress, really last minute for me. She was very direct, which I really love. The price was fair and clear and her workmanship was excellent. I would highly recommend her for any alterations.
Authentic review . I have never previously had any clothes altered and having brought jacket from Internet, slightly big request to make smaller after alterations . Fits perfectly cannot see work undertaken. Would highly recommend taking clothes to be altered.
Cannot stress how happy I am with Kim's service! Had to get a dress altered for my graduation, she made sure she saw me in the dress to know exactly what to change, and ensured I was 100% happy with everything that needed to be done. She also asked that I come in for another fitting after she had done the first round of alterations, again to visually see how it looked on, and offered some further alterations to ensure it fits me perfectly. The dress was finished in just a week, super fast service, and you can tell the perfectionist detailing has been done well
One of the best tailors in town! I had my flared trousers altered here and the condition after was fantastic. Excellent service, Kim was very friendly and kind. Couldn’t recommend enough. Will be definitely going back there in the future.
Had a simple cotton dress altered. Taken in under arm to waist 2 inches. Workmanship excellent. I have given 4* as i think the £40 cost was expensive. Dearer than the dress! Asked how much to take up straight hem on pair of trousers quoted £25 suffice to say i took them 3 doors down & excellent job done for £12 & ready the next day!
Kim’s sewing is fantastic! She genuinely cares about the quality of her work and altered my wedding dress to fit perfectly with just 2 days to go to the wedding! Her hard work and professionalism is second to none, I cannot recommend her enough! Thank you Kim
Kim altered my leavers ball dress and a jumpsuit for a dinner which needed major alterations in such a short space of time. She asked me in for a number of fittings and I felt looked after and very welcome! Both fit perfectly now and I am very happy overall! Highly recommend
