Twice this year there have been disruptions to services, Glasgow Central fire and yesterday an incident at Gilmour Street. On both occasions the trains could go no further than Kilwinning. The rail workers were on the platforms making sure everyone was kept informed, buses arrived and the station staff were directing traffic and making sure everyone got on the right bus. The staff were helpful and very cheerful and made sure people got where they needed to be
A big thank you to both Leanna and Chris at the ticket office. Got my railcard organised super quick after I was let down by trainpal. 1st class service .
Great station with new bridge can change platforms / trains to Largs / Glasgow Central also taxi tank
Very good and cheap hot and cold food available,served by a lady who is always cheerful and a pleasure to deal with
The station has been revamped since I was last there, now with lifts !!nnNice, courteous man at ticket office. Clean area.
