Stopped in the area in May while visiting our daughter in Glasgow. Popped in for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Great views from the bar. Good selection of beers, Gins and Whisky. Staff were very friendly. Great atmosphere. Had meals there another couple of times in the week and we all thought the food was delicious. Got really busy Friday evening so booking advised. We'll definitely be back.
Just stayed for two nights on our way up to the Highlands. Was so reasonably priced that I wasn't expecting much however the room was great, very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were lovely without being overbearing and the food was absolutely delicious. I recommend the black pudding fritters, we had them twice! Only a 40 minute drive to Glasgow which suited us fine so if we are ever staying in the area again we will be back. Thanks for a great stay!
In Gourock for a social event and was recommended the Spinnaker Spinny to stay. It is absolutely fine. Main business seems to be the bar and its food but that didn't have an impact. The room was quite small tight if there had been 2 of us and basic but spotlessly clean. Bathroom was well equipped. Staff are helpful and friendly. There's not a car park but there's street parking nearby. And excellent value. I'd happily return
We stayed here for 4 days, each day the staff were welcoming and friendly, the room was beautiful with an amazing view of the River Clyde. The food was perfect from the breakfast to the evening meal. Would definitely recommend this hotel to people looking for somewhere to stay. We'll definitely be back in the summer sometime.Rooms: 5/5
The best fish and chips restaurant in my life!!!!!! Super fresh & high quality fish and chips and proper guinness of course The restaurant has cozy atmosphere inside. The burger is also very good. Highly recommend to grab some food there if you are in town.
The best pint of Guinness in Inverclyde. Really really tasty food in a beautiful local cosy pub with friendly staff. Make a reservation as the place is always full. The fish and chips are beautiful, the fish was as long as my forearm. Great service and high quality food. Stuart the owner is also a gent. Well behaved dogs as well.
Fantastic experience. Located on the sea front. Some parking is available. Room was a tad small but the decor and comfort was very good. Food quality for evening dinner and breakfast was superb. Lovely friendly staff. Recommended. Id definately return.Rooms: 4/5
OK the rom was a little tired. The shower could have been better, but BUT the service, the staff, the location all excellent. Loved it. Intended to go out into other bars and resteraunts but stayed in the bar and ate there for the whole stay. Thank youRooms: 4/5
Last minute booking for work. Great little hotel well presented room and friendly staff. I had the fish for dinner and wow it was amazing. Highly recommend visiting here, even if it’s just for food and drink. Top hotel .Rooms: 5/5
Excellent place to stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Staff were fabulous, and the views were stunning. Rooms: The rooms were just lovely, the beds were so comfortable and the bathroom was perfect.
