Used them for the 1st time last week , service was exceptional , got my car back squeaky clean , runs a lot smoother too , the young lad also gave me some really good advice , can't thank them enough , I will definetly be back !!

More like ' The Kilbarchan Cowboy' than 'Kilbarchan Vehicle Services', I think. My niece saved for a year and bought her first car from this garage (recommended by family 'friend', who turned out to be anything but - but that's another story...). All empty promises and fake assurances prior to the purchase, but then once he had the girls money, he just wasn't interested. The car ("a great wee runner", apparently), had problems from the off which meant serious ££ being forked out to keep it on the road, until finally (after only 7 months, and hundreds of ££) the timing belt snapped and cylinder head gasket blew, leaving her with a bill in excess of £1k. The purpose of this review to try & ensure that no-one else falls for the smooth pre-sales patter & ends up as disappointed as we are - not to mention seriously out of pocket. The Kilbarchan Cowboy should hang his head in shame (but won't....).

Bought a car from them.in january had nothijg but problems with it only weeks after purchasing... went to see owner of garage who then asked me.to leave his garage and refused to chat with me.. i soent 1500 buying the car and within i weeks spent a further 900... The has broke down again anf now im #quoted 600 to repair... the garage taking no responsibility or willing to helo amend the probelms.. i have now got a legal team and trading standards dealing with it

this garage is not long opened and it already has a terrible reputation for very sub slandered work and sky high rip off prices, also they do work or rather claim to have done work that was unnecessary and without consent, theY charge ridiculous prices, higher than a main dealer that actually has proper time served mechanics in it, £140 per hour they charged for work i never agreed too or was necessary,,STAY VERY VERY FAR AWAY FROM THIS RIP OFF CONMAN ,he also sells banger car from the thorn brae in johnstone that are falling to bits ,this man gives the car trade a very bad name
