I arrived to post an item at 16:30 on Saturday, knowing the post office shut at 17:00.  The cashier was outside talking to a friend and as I approached with two boxes to post she was looking directly at me and rolled her eyes, which was pretty damn rude. I asked if there was something wrong to be told she'd just put the Post Office machines off, which seemed stupid given it shuts at 17:00. I thought I'd have to wait a while before they fired back up, but no, it took her less than 1 minute to turn it back on and she took both items no problem.  As she was serving she told me it had "just been a long day", obviously realising how rude she'd been.
