I'm really disappointed with our recent experience at Kidzone. We had a special once-a-year birthday party planned for my daughter and, as always, trusted Kidzone to deliver the magic. We confirmed 27 kids and paid for all 27 even though only 25 attended, yet they completely missed key items from the contract—there was no pizza or chips, and the table was almost empty. Every other birthday party I've attended there has been amazing, so it's baffling how they could overlook such essential details. Their team should have ensured everything was in place; it's their responsibility, not mine. Think twice before booking your event here if you expect the service promised.nnEdit: Even though I was treated unfairly, instead of accepting their mistakes, they made it seem as if something that never happened did. This approach made me feel extremely bad. And they are really good magicians—somehow they turn 25 kids into 28. It is impossible for more children to attend because they have the invitee list, they check everyone, and they were fully aware that payment was made for 27 children while only 25 attended. The remaining two kids simply did not show up, yet they still accuse their customer of having 28 kids after saw my post here not on that day. This is a huge and unfounded allegation.nIf they don't have control over who attends and even struggle to check the invitee list, I believe we should be concerned not only about their efficiency but also about the safety of our children.nPlease read Kidzone's review below and decide for yourself how you would like to be treated here.
Today, I visited KidsZone with my two young children and was truly shocked by what I witnessed. A child had been sick on the carpet, and although a concerned visitor notified the staff, the mess was left uncovered for several minutes. During this time, children were still running through the area, exposing themselves to the contamination. It seemed like the responsibility of the public to cover the mess to prevent this from happening, as the sick child had already left.nnWhen the staff finally came out to clean, a young girl wiped the area with a cloth and some spray – but without wearing gloves. She placed the contaminated cloth on the chairs while rearranging them, and despite her efforts, the mess was still clearly visible. She did not leave the chairs to dry properly, so children continued to run through the area without a proper cleaning taking place.nnTo make matters worse, this same staff member then entered the kitchen and began serving food to customers, raising serious concerns about hygiene. When another customer questioned the manager, they mentioned that they had run out of gloves the previous night, and while her husband had just returned from buying more, the situation still seemed poorly handled given that stores like Tesco and Home Bargains are right next door.nnOverall, I was extremely disappointed with the hygiene standards at this facility. If you're considering visiting KidsZone, especially if you're planning to order food, I highly recommend caution. The lack of proper cleanliness and attention to hygiene is concerning, and I won’t be returning anytime soon.
I had my sons 6th birthday here at the weekend. Our party host Lillian, was lovely, nothing was too much trouble for her. She helped me set up the room and talked me through everything. The food was lovely also. Would definitely recommend.
Great place for a 3yr old. Been a couple of times. Staff helpful and pleasant. Food is good. Waited 30mins for jacket spud. It's cheaper during term time ie £3.20 instead of £4.50. They did a meal deal for kids when I attended on a Friday morning which was £5.50! It was clean enough and you can see most of the play area. You are buzzed in through a secure door. Free wifi. They have a loyalty card for a free entry and a loyalty card for hot drinks.
Really enjoyed it here with my kids. It's not the biggest place in the world but it was still good. Cost £9 for my 2 kids. Had the place to ourselves when we got there, soon filled up though, Saturday around 1:00pm when we arrived. There's a big blue slide that we went down that you can pick up some serious speed on lol. Ball court, little ball pool, zip line, smaller slides etc. Little area for 0-2s which my little lad went in, it was OK for him. There's a little track for go karts but unfortunately they weren't working when we went. The staff were really polite and friendly, probably the best I've come across yet as far as kids play centres go, keep up the good work guys, it makes a big difference! Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is due to its size really that's all, nowt they can do about that though.
