Story

Kidz Play is a family owned and run, seaside themed indoor children’s play centre located by Prestwick beach front on the stunning Ayrshire coast.

The Centre was totally refurbished in 2013 and now boasts a variety of soft play shapes and building blocks and a ball swamp for babies, physical area for children aged 1-4 years, including slides, climbing frames, sensory walls panels, ball air machine, ride on toys and playhouses, an exciting and challenging new main play structure for children aged 4-11* years or 5ft 2", including drop slide, astro slide, canon tower and sports pitch.

We have two party rooms hosting max 25 children each or max 50 children (both) for a larger party or group outing

Our centre also provides a selection of comfortable seating areas, immaculate toilets and baby changing facilities, breastfeeding area, baby food and bottle heating area and our seaside Café and takeaway.

My daughter who is 4 years old loves this place ideal for her age group to let of steam. Plus have food and soft drinks. 5yrs and under area and 5 yrs plus area.
This lady clearly cares for the community she serves as reflected in her entry prices, by far the best value softplay in a very large radius! The place is spacious, airy & facilities are exceptional. The toddler area is 1 of the best being a mini-version of the main area. The cafe has a great selection, food is good quality & prices are very competitive. A separate baby-change area in the disabled loo plus an additional change area in the ladies. Sometimes a wee Q to get in but the staff are so welcoming & accomodating it's worth the 15 mins or so wait & we arrived at peak time: lunchtime Saturday! Great location too for parking, walking & lovely views along the coast..fab wee day out for 2 adults/2kids we only spent just under £30 & all fed & watered!
Hmmm so yeah. I traveled here from saltcoats with my girls in wind and rain. I phoned beforehand too see if was an opportunity to book beforehand n was assured be no need to do that. You can't do that. So we get Thier and the queue is so big you are out the door in the cold. Everyone cramped in the tiniest space. I had a buggy a 2 yr old and a 7 yr old. I didn't realise at the time the queue was Thier for us to wait on people going out. Or id have probably left. I just thought we were in a queue. So a woman approaches me n the lady behind me. She just arrived and got out of her car. Brought the five kids too the door. Walked past me assured me wasn't skipping the queue she just had to go tell her friend who worked Thier that she had arrived. Five minutes later she came back out got her five kids and literally shoved herself and kids through the tightest queue to make it too the front. My 2 yr old and others were screaming at this point and it was so un comfortable. I suffer panic attacks and anxiety and if it wasnt for the family behind and in front. I don't know how I would have coped In that situation. I just knew I couldn't leave because my kids had waited so long. So she come out of the comfort of her car straight in because she had a freind who worked their. How is that on when we waited all that time. So we get in n the staff are lovely. They are great the food no so much. I returned a burger that was raw for my daughter. Thier was no side with Thier lunch. I dunno I feel like the least you want when you come out from the cold is a good meal. I will go back because it's the most decent play area around best for both my kids ages. But I'll be dreading it when I do...
Always a fun day. Staff are very friendly, efficient and welcoming. Amazing you don't pay for kids that aren't walking yet, which was amazing for days you just needed out the house. Amazing, keep up the good work guys!
My sons party today, kids all had a great time! Great service and food too
Very enjoyable place to take the kids and meet other parents etc. There is a great variety of soft play items for most ages. There's also floor toys such as cars etc. They do kids parties here and in my experience they have been great. There's a decent array of food but personally, I think it's quite expensive. The entrance fee is reasonable and there is plenty of car parking as this play area sits on a great spot right by the beach, so if the kids and parents aren't tired enough from all the play, then you can have a lovely walk along the promenade where there is pitch and putt and outdoor play areas.
Worth the drive down from Glasgow - the soft play itself is a good size and laid out well enough that it's fairly easy to keep track of where a hyperactive six year old is most of the time. Entry and food is reasonably priced and I've never had any trouble getting parked nearby. The location is great for ending a trip with a wee walk along the promenade with an ice cream before the drive home.
My daughter had a Lazer tag party. Set up is amazing with the place shut off just for the party. Staff are fantastic and go the extra mile. Very clean unlike most kid play areas! Very happy kids and would not hesitate to book again!
Went with my 2 year old today 1st May 2016. Firstly very impressed that only the children are charged for, not adults, so visit for 2 adults and child was under 5 pounds. Seemingly no time limit. Excellent play area for under 5s. Adults were permitted on the equipment so that is reassuring that you can closely supervise your wee one if you want. Can't comment on older play area as didn't use it. Staff were helpful and friendly and visible although perhaps could have been a little more assertive when bigger children were playing a bit roughly near the wee ones. We used the 2-5 zone and there's a big difference between a 2 year old and a fuve year old - Although of course it's the parents' job really. Whole place felt safe and nice and friendly even though it was a bank holiday and busy. We will definitely be back as the whole experience was excellent.
