Absolutely great castle. Seen from the outside many times and never expected it to be so big and so much to see inside. Definitely worth a visit.
It was OK. I would have enjoyed it a lot more if it wasn't raining and we could get out of the car. I like photography (here are some pictures in case you're interested) and I would have loved to get a few more shots. Oh well! Maybe next time!
Amazing castle, very intact and lots of little hidden places to explore! The towers are magical and the view from the top is breath taking. Slight downside is that the small informational tech. doesn't work and doesn't look like it has for a little while It would look great with replica furniture, food, etc...
Great place!! We all love it!! My kids (4,5 and 6,5) had fun.. just be really careful on the stairs to tower.. they're really steep.. Not expensive great adventure, would visit again.
THIS is the most beautiful castle here in Wales!!!! We'd spend more than one hour at the castle... It's really beautiful..
Would have liked it mote if it wasn't closed. Seems it is closed for months, why as you're in the open air!
Lovely castle to walk around and plenty of history boards. Information office available. Nice village with quaint old houses. Can get busy in holiday weeks.
Lovely day out if the sun is shining. Around 4 for adults. Around 3 for Seniors. Under 5s free. 2 approx for children.
Excellent outing for all the family. The castle remains are substantial and beautifully sited. There's plenry of information, a nice shop, free parking and toilets on site.
A beautiful castle perched on top of a hill overlooking the Gwendraeth river, the castle gates were closed on the day I visited but the steps leading down from the front of the castle took me down to the river bank and o er a quaint bridge and a short walk back to Kidwelly town.
