If I could give this company zero stars I would. Bought a Chicco hug air 4-in-1 in August baby due start of December. My baby arrived end of November and after a short time my partner and I noticed the crib was dipping in the middle. We had grave concerns about increased risk of SIDS so stopped using the item and reported the fault, providing video evidence. After hearing nothing I contacted the company by phone who have refused a refund and made no offer of replacement. Instead they wish to contact the manufacturer and have chosen to disregard consumer protection legislation. I have a useless product - unfit for purpose, unsafe and at a cost of around £200 I expected better. I have now bought another crib for my little one. AVOID this company who will not help in the event of a faulty product. Worth paying slightly more at John Lewis or another more reputable retailer who will resolve the matter.
AVOID. Cot bed arrived 3 days late. 3 days waiting in for it courtesy of DPD couriers. Bed was in terrible order. Box had been taped back up. Wood was cracked and bits broken. DPD failed to pick up the bed today so another wasted day. 4 in total. Really don't think customer service care. Do yourself a favour and get the products on Amazon. Arrived quickly and not broken!!
Avoid. Truly awful service. I cancelled after the 4th delay/estimate for delivery was missed, each time I had to chase them for answers. All I ever got was an email back saying it'll be another 5-10 working days before delivery. 2 months this went on, not once did customer services reach out to say they were going to miss their own delivery estimate. They don't respond to requests for call backs, and now their phone lines have been closed down with covid as the excuse. Shockingly bad.
Brilliant costermer service orded a pushchair found one £20 cheaper after the fact with next day delivery they swapped my order for the cheat one and are refunding the £20 difference received it next day and even had a phone call back to let me know everything had been sorted. Best costumer service I have experienced in a very long time highly recommend them absolutely brilliant
They have taken money for products Car Seat that they claimed were in stock but actually are not in stock with no delivery date. Attitude of "like it or lump it" when speaking on the phone. We changed our order to a different colour allegedly in stock. Given a delivery date. Wait for delivery, day comes and goes. No delivery and no call. Eventually get through to the nonchalant phone operative who says its not in stock and don't know when it will be available. It seems there is no chance of a refund from these crooks and we are now having to contact the card company to assist. Disgraceful behaviour from top to bottom from a company that should not be trading. Buyer beware, you have been warned!
Worst Experience ever! Cant count the issues i had with them. 1 i am in Ireland - they do ship to Ireland - but on their website Irish Credit Cards will not accepted due to their pre-set country dropdown menu, you are not able to choose "Ireland" as country and therefore your payments is getting declined 2 it took them 1 week to get back to me via email with their bank transfer details IBAN, BIC I also wanted to get an invoice from them with the final price, so i could transfer correct EUR amount i placed order in £ and i tried to generate invoice on the website - but of course IT DID NOT WORK. I called Customer Service to ask for the exact amount and his answer: "well you can go on the website and put the items you ordered in the cart again and it will show you the amount of what you ordered" - EXCUSE ME????!!! 3 once i received their IBAN, BIC and i was about to transfer, my online banking tells me the IBAN is INCORRECT 4 i was able to re-create the IBAN MYSELF with an online tool and send them an email with THEIR CORRECT IBAN - what a joke!!! 5 because all this payment process took around 10 days them not getting back to me and then transferring the money, the furniture i ordered was no longer available and they sold it to another customer!!!, telling me my order was marked as "pre-order" now, as it was not out of stock and delivery date was TO BE CONFIRMED 6 NO WORDS FOR THIS 7 i asked them to call me back 3 times - because their customer service charges a ridic amount per minute and i ran out of phone credit when i was put on hold in the waiting line!!!! who will refund me for this??? THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK! So i had to buy phone credit. 8 i cancelled the entire order once i reached them 9 it is now another week later and the refunded money is still not on my account 10 DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!
We placed an order back in January and had to chase them twice before we received all our goods. We were told they were out of stock but we was not told this at the time of placing order. However in the grand scheme of problems we have had with them that is just small. Our major problem was regarding our pram. Our Jane Epic travel system which we have been using since April broke in June. The front wheel shook worse than a dodgy supermarket trolley, the whole thing squeaked as I pushed it and the brakes would not release until I wiggled the wheel. After numerous emails I could never reach them by phone they sent me out a brake cable to fit, this did not work. So again we had the tedious task of emailing by which they said a NEW chassis would be sent. No chassis was sent and I again tried emailing with no response at all. I then decided to wait the gruelling 20+ mins and call them. They stated there had been a mix up and they would get it sent out to me. The chassis has turned up but it is scratched, the box had been ripped, squashed and tapped back up. What is most alarming is that this supposedly new chassis was sent in a box that is for a completely different Jane product and does not look new. I have again tried to reach Kiddie Kingdom via email and phone and they are refusing to get back to me. I am now proceeding to take this case further as I am unlikely to get this sorted via Kiddie Kingdom. I would stay away from this company if you are looking to spend a lot on an item. I wish I had spent a bit extra and gone elsewhere as their products are clearly questionable and their customer service is the most shocking I have ever experienced!!
Awful experience with this company due to a damaged product! They might be efficient at taking an online order and getting the product to you, but if there's a problem, look out because customer service is terrible! 1 it takes on average 20 minutes for them to answer when you press the customer services option on the phone menu this compares with around 2 minutes on the new sale option - I tried both. 2 They do not call you back when they say they will resulting in a further frustrating call to them to chase it yourself. 3 they do not send you any correspondence telling you what they have arranged via e-mail etc making it difficult to know exactly what is going on. All in all a terrible experience - I will most certainly not be using them again despite slightly cheaper pricing - what it's cost me in telephone calls to date probably makes this more expensive than competitor companies they've also told me that they'll compensate me for time and telephone calls, but I'm not holding my breath on that either bearing in mind that I still do not have replacement parts despite being assured that they'll be delivered today.
Unreliable. Can't be bothered to return correspondence or even open when they say they will! Drove 25 miles to visit the shop looked like a good business online based on the opening hours provided. when me and my family arrived keen to see their stock we then realised they were closed. lights off and shutters down even though their 'we're open sign' was showing and opening hours above the door clearly showed they were open for 3 hours more. i have sent multiple emails and calls but not once have they bothered to contact me back. Hours wasted, fuel wasted on a 50 mile round trip with a car full of kids. All that and they don't even have the professional decency to reply back. How can you trust a company like this?
After reading many of these reviews I panicked as I had just purchased a pram from Kiddie Kingdom. However I have been delighted by every aspect of the transaction. The communication throughout has been great and I received confirmation of delivery before the initially suggested time scale. The goods an Egg travel system arrived brand new, boxed as it left the manufacturer and in good order. There are undoubtedly other customers that have not had my experience but it's only right that I pass on my delight at the service I received. Thank you. P.s. I do not work for them, live in Scotland and have worked in retail and website fulfilment for over 20 years.
