I have been using Kickstart to service my 50cc scooter since last year, I haven't had a problem until collecting my scooter after its service on the 10/04/18. I asked for a drive belt and rollers which i provided to be fitted and a general health check brakes etc, went in paid and drove off. As I turned into woodstock road and pulled the throttle back my scooter roared faster than usual and I nearly ran into the back of a bus. I drove back to kickstart and asked the mechanic had he done something to my scooter, he said yes, he'd derestricted it. without telling me! I did not ask for it to be deresctricted and was annoyed that I had driven off in my vehicle with a modification voiding my insurance and putting my safety at risk. I was charged for an oil change but noted the oil was half way down the dip stick, I changed the oil and it was jet black, they never changed it. I will never go near them, questionable expertise of mechanic, avoid. UPDATE: THIS GUY MAY WELL CALL ME A LIAR, I RECORDED THE TELEPHONE CONVERSATION I MADE TO COMPLAIN WHEN I SPOKE WITH WHOM I ASSUME IS THIS GUYS WIFE, DURING WHICH SHE ASKS THE MECHANIC DID HE DERESTRICT MY SCOOTER HE CAN BE HEARD SAYING YES, MY COMPLAINT CLEARLY MADE AND THE WOMAN ON THE OTHER END SAYING SORRY. NOW, IF YOU LOT AT KICKSTART WANT IT PUT ON YOUTUBE FOR EVERYONE TO HEAR I SUGGEST YOU TAKE YOUR INCOMPETENCE WITH GRACE AND ENSURE YOU COMPLY WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS WISHES AND DO NOT UNDERTAKE MODIFICATIONS THAT ARE NOT REQUESTED.
