Got the mega gravy box, chips were nice and hot but the chicken was actually appalling, so rubbery and you could tell it was old, it’s supposed to be crispy but the outside was just rubbery and gooey. The chicken drumstick was disgusting all gooey and full of skin, the chicken fillet was cold and so old and rubbery. The hot wings were disgusting and freezing. Absolutely awful, please stop serving old chicken, I’ve came here so many times now just thinking “oh I’m sure it will be fresh this time” but each time I’m greeted with the same problem. This should be a hazard, my chicken drumstick was pink.
Visited twice could not fault the food nice staft clear and tidy will visit again. Back in towyn for our hols again went here today tuesday the 19/06/23 a few people in here but got served right away food was good chips were nice chicken was like it. should be light and tasty as usual the place the place was spotless and the staff were pleasant no bad comments from us went here 12/09/23 how can this KFC go down the pan in 3 months after the review i wrote praising it the chips were dry the chicken was dry i didn't enjoy it so dissapointed. Tables were left with rubbish on them but thats not just the staffs fault it's the lazy people who go in here if back in rhyl i will go back in and try to see if it was just a bad day. I hope it was. Back in Rhyl today 15/9/25 had some food here the chips where nice, chicken lovely and the gravy was hot and tasty when we went in everywhere was clean we sat down near the window then a oldish guy came in sat two tables from us when he finished his food he got up walked past the bins to the toilet then walked right out the door it's not hard to put your rubbish in the bin is it. Anyway big thumbs up for the staff here
We bought a 10 piece boneless then was given the wrong meal because there was no number on the receipt or screen. We then eat a 6 piece bucket without chips someone elses order and it was full of bleech and cleaning fluid. Tasted like bleech and there was no way of knowing what order was what. We was sick the next day and its the worst kfc we've ever been to
Never again will I be ordering from this KFC again!nWe spent £43 and something pence the food came out very fast to us the chicken, tasted funny and it was grey I phoned up immediately and they gave me a £35 refund but this is not enough because, my partner had some chicken and she’s pregnant carrying twins I’ve caught food poisoning from this KFC my body doesn’t feel right and I have all the food poisoning symptoms if I could I would give this no stars
Weirdly enough, for a KFC, some of the best service I’ve ever had.nnLast time we visited, we ordered our food, paid with cash within seconds at the counter, and got our food without exaggeration within a minute or two, no faults, and they STILL had the gall to apologise it wasn’t any faster.nnI’m not sure what kind of bet the employees have going on, or if there’s been a doubling in pay, but for a meal only slightly more expensive than McDonald’s, especially considering the state of both the McDonald’s in Rhyl, it’s entirely different league.
