Good: best KFC in Christchurch. Only giving this good a review because rest of KFC's are worse. Fairly quick to give you food. Bad: even for dine-in it is served in a bag. Did not see any attempt to clean any tables.
The food was good. But one "kid" 16/ 17-year-old boy at the counter made it very obvious that he thought he was too good for the job and too good for the customers. He didn't talk. He grunted at customers. Threw peoples food and dropped drinks on the counter, then tossed the straws. He then went to empty rubbish bins and had such an attitude. Someone asked to get past him, and he just glared at them before kicking the rubbish bag across the floor. Not one person pulled him up on his behaviour, and one lady working with him was making jokes with him about customers. I would have said something to the supervisor but he was a meek young boy himself and was obviously intimidated by these two knobs.
i ordered superstar box, i heard call my number no one there, i waited to confirm is this bag for my number, the aunty said yes. On the way i found the bag is not complete, so i turned back to ask, the aunty didn’t apologize but What she mumbled was it was my fault to left, she took 2 attempts to complete. Well if u just completed the order correctly and wait the customer to pick , i think there is no this review to tell what unhappy customer experienced.
Give it a miss, chicken size was pathetic, staffs spend more time chatting than servicing, giving customers the feeling they are not welcome at all. Trash bins were up to the brim, and staff just simply wipe off food remains from the tables on to the chairs and ground!!Food: 1/5
I know KFC doesn’t care of reviews!! But to be honest, it’s very sad to see such a this customer servicewe visited this branch twice, both of the time staff just ignored us and had to wait for a long time till someone serve us! Of course we didn’t eat there the second time! So if you can just avoid them as they will ruin your day or your trip. If you can’t then prepare to be ignored or annoyed!

Chicken was mildly warm with soggy coating. There was absolutely no crunch to it. We were there for dinner. The server seemed annoyed I was ordering at the counter and not at the self-serve and flicked the receipt at me. All the tables were dirty my husband had to ask for a cloth to wash our table we were the only customers in store for 20 mins and no one came to clean the tables or sweep the floor that had food on it. By far the worst one we've been to
Food was great and the chips hot. Good service. Just a loopy person twirling about the store causing a small scene on the day I went.Food: 5/5
I actually like this KFC, the downfall for me is the hygiene. I understand that when you're on a break you're on a break. But I literally saw one staff on her break and didn't even bother to clean up the tables on her way back. You wouldn't eat at home in filth and I don't expect to eat near filthy tables either, especially during covid times. The managers really have to take that serious! Cheers to the Maori guy who seems to be the only one working.
Incredibly slow, I almost fell asleep. I have empathy for the staff to be managed by an operator that believes it's okay to have minimal staff. Management needs to be responsible for lack of staff and lack of service. I will do my best to never return.
