This BUPA Dentist is a disgrace, it use to be a good dentist until it was taken over by BUPA, now they don't answer the phone, don't ring back when you leave a message, only do temporary fillings! all they want to do is charge for private dental work, by saying they have not got a dentist who can do NHS work, NHS should stop paying them, till they can provide the service. AVOID!!!! minus 5*
Had a broken tooth that was causing me pain. Fortunate to be seen at short notice. Dentist Mo Sharif extract extracted my tooth with professionalism. Very helpful & informative about aftercare. Great service.
I attended this practice today and was very pleased with my visit. I found the staff to be really friendly and helpful. The whole practice was very clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family members. Keep up the good work all NHS staff.
We can only speak as we find and my experience has always been very good. Recently moved from keynsham to Devon with no chance of registering at a new practice whether NHS or Private. I therefore travel up to Keynsham and the receptionists have always been really kind and understanding. Sad to be losing Sandeep as my dentist of many years in the practice but look forward to meeting my new one.
I’ve always found reception a little frosty and they kind of forget who the client is. Go in for hygienist, appointment 10min late which is reasonable for a dentist. I had a 40 min appointment, the shortest they do and I was in the building for a total of 20mins where it felt rushed. They charged £69 for a 40 min session. Either need to allow shorter sessions or spend more time on clean. Hygienist was knowledgeable to be fair.
Had two appointments booked to get a crown fitted with a total cost of £550. My temp came off with in a day and I had to wait two days for it to be put back on. I paid an ammount on the first visit and on the final visit which didn't come to £550. When I worked it out and told them it was over £20 too much they told me it was correct. When I said it wasn't as it was £550 they then told me it was for PPE. I wasn't told about this charge or given any notice. That's a steep charge. Both my appointments were 10 mins late and felt rushed. I can never get through on the phone which is frustrating. I left a voice mail to ask them to book me in so I can have the crown filed as it's not sitting right still and I still havnt been called back. They have cancelled a regular check up today also.
Reception staff unprofessional and unhelpful. I understand the practice has rules around appointments and how emergency appointments can be booked however, I received inconsistent information from the 3 calls I made to them this week. I called 5 other dental practices after who were so much more professional and helpful and was able to find one who could help me with an emergency appointment today. I won't be returning to this dental practice as I feel the receptionists lack the necessary training to deal with the urgency of emergency appointment. However, this is no reflection on the Dentists themselves. I hope you have a better experience than me.
I switched to this practice 2-3 years ago as an NHS patient before they were bought out by BUPA. The dentist I have had, Sandeep Achar, has been great in dealing with a crown that had been put in by a previous dentist but kept working loose. My only quibble is that it can take a while to get an appt, but they do offer to put you on a list so if anyone cancels you get seen quicker. I would recommend them.
I highly recommend Dr Sandeep Achar, I am always very happy with the result and the care. Dr Achar is a very professional and knowledgeable dentist who has a kind and gentle manner. Thank you very much.
My wife had to have an emergency appointment. We also ended up running late?? The reception staff were so friendly helpful and obliging it took all the STING out of my wifes problem. Thanks you so much. Thanks Girls and Sandeep.
