One of my neighbours who has a disability locked herself out of her flat when the key snapped off in the lock. I attempted to extract the remaining half but it was impossible. I looked up Which's Trusted Traders recommended locksmiths and rang Keymakers.  This was just after 5pm and the man who answered the phone explained that they close at 5, but given the circumstances he gave me the mobile number of one of their locksmiths who was out on a job. I asked roughly how much it might cost and it sounded very reasonable.  Phoned the mobile number, he said he was on a call-out about 10 miles away but as soon as he'd finished he'd come over, said it would be about one hour which was sooner than I'd expected.  About 10 minutes later he rang me to say he had a colleague locksmith who was still working, and was on a call nearer us, who then rang me to confirm the address and was at our flats in half an hour or less.  Very friendly and efficient guy, sorted the problem quickly without having to change the barrel.  Next day when my neighbour was emailed the bill it was exactly as I'd been quoted.  Based on this experience I can't praise Keymakers highly enough - all three people were honest, helpful, competent, friendly and charged a very reasonable rate. I've saved their number on my phone in case I ever need a locksmith.  Recommended!

I had a problem with my door lock and there was only one place that I would trust to go to for help and assistance.That place was my local locksmiths in Winchmore Hill, Keymakers London  My old lock needed replacing so I bought a new lock and had to have additional keys cut.  I took my new door lock home but I had a bit of a problem fitting on my door so I called Keymakers London, they sent out one of their locksmiths and to my delight the gentleman was at my door with 10 minutes and 5 minutes later I had my replacement door lock fitted on my door.  I have been in Winchmore hill for the last 23 years have been using this company, I can't recommend them enough. I love going to their shop and there is nothing they don't stock, they know what they're talking about and they will serve with a smiling face and will help in any way they can. Thank you all at Keymakers London you are in a league of your own.

Problem with two entrance doors. Phoned Keymakers and they came to me the same day. Really efficient friendly locksmith attended. Resolved the issues. Excellent service Highly reccomended

My back door lock broke. It only took one look at the lock to know the gear box was broken and could be fixed. Repaired so quickly. Such a skill is gold dust in day and age.

I can only give Cliff and the staff here a very big thank you. After going Wickes, homebase and b&q this was the only place where the staff knew what they were talking about. Not only this but they stock all different locks that you can get on the spot, unlike other major shops who can only order things as they only sell online. Once again, a big thank you to the guys here. I will be recommending and going back here to get all my locks and keys from now on.

Issue with Ultion lock..... Arrived within the hour and fixed and offered advice on alternatives. Had all necessary parts and spares.... Were able to order extra keys to be picked up. Great customer service on phone and from. Pedro on site.

In reading the THREE good reviews, im a bit suprised which is why I am giving a 3* I Have always had  a good service for years  with key cutting. However  on this occasion I was not  spoken to  with respect from Mark. They didnt hv in stock a larger  key hole cover for a street door, and a door security chain.  He had order it in for me. which was  not a problem   Got told should be here  end of week  latest by monday / tuesday following week. I returned to  collect but  had'nt had the order in. Then  got given apprx time to come back. Still no delivery. This carried on for 5 weeks. Eventually after 5 weeks the order had arrived . But Mark hadn't bothered to tell me previous times he can't get a security chain.  had I been informed I would of looked elswhere.  'causing a delay in completing my door for  necessary accessories.  key hole plate  had no screw holes fixtures 'only stick on' I queried it, if so to come back.  2 weeks later I return with one plate which had fallen off  the inside of my door i knew it  "leaving a sticky mark on my newly painted door " I asked Mark if he had asked the suppliers for screw plates? yes,he had asked for either.   thats no good because they have only supplied you with the sticky ones which i didnt want, "Ideally he should of specified what was needed  He said he will order another one with screw fixtures. AND also asked  my contact number to call me as soon as they arrive. 2 week goes past no call.  Today 4th August  I popped in at 1.30 pm  to find out if my order has arrived. Mark was sat on the chair doing nothing. comes over  immediately to the counter with three packets  for me to pick   one was a small plate which we had established 7 weeks ago I can't have  anyway. I asked why he didnt call me. He said, they hv just arrived. When was that I asked? 'M'... about an hour and a half ago. I replied. Thats a while ago, it wd of taken just10  sconds to make a quick call, I don't like to give my number out unless you needed to call me. he said I'm trying my best to help you . I asked so why not call me then  as promises  you  are saying you are doing your best  you  were just sitting on  the chair doing nothing. Then He conveniently replied,  Iam on my lunch . thats an excuse  I replied, so why then are you now serving me if you say you are on lunch.? I feel hes lied  to get let of the hook  typical excuses I hear all the time.  I said what about ALL those times for 5 weeks I had to stop of & find parking in my time during my  working time in my breaks to run & check up  if order has arrived. I said, i dont like your attitute I woun't have them now. He immediately went to the til to refund me for the initial  sticky plates I bought 7 weeks ago  AND  said, thats £3 back. I replied NO they were not £3 .  They were £11   so not only  did he speak & treat me like a mug sending me on a wild goose chace & then tried to short change me with £3 or seems he dont know the price of product he sold me. at least check first before refunding  correct money  I dont like to make complaints  but this was unprofessional & not called for. Had It been a bloke, would he  of spoken to him in the same way ? Irrespective if he was on lunch , but the fact he was sat on a chair doing nothing & not even NO food in sight that he couldn't manage to find 10 seconds to call me before lunch break Seeing I had been waiting patiently for Seven weeks to then experience a poor & cheeky rude customer service. I knew I should of trusted my instinct & canceled  order all together after  being messed about  return many times for a simple key hole plate. & previous times I have seen him engrosed on his mobile no acknowkedge of me and another customer standing by the counter waiting to be served, I had to alert his attention that people are waiting to be served  I hardly call that  good customer service
