Thr Station has undertaken a major refurbishment of security barriers and pay points. New renovated paint work and now looks and feels more modern
Trains always delayed, staff useless, too busy being lazy and sometimes not even bothering to put out a sign informing people where the bus replacement will stopif one at all. Also it seems like the station and waiting rooms refurbishment has been going on for 2 years or more.
I decided to get myself a soft drink from the station £2.15 for a bottle of Coke Zero - outrageous price AND price labelling was not done effectively - get a soft drink from one of the platform machine at £1.60. Talk about exploiting a captive often rushed market - disgraceful.
Someone had had the biggest dump I have ever seen at the bottom of the bridge over the lines. Can appreciate that it was a better option than filling your pants! Not cleaned up and sadly not even surprising.
I work as a track maintenance at Kettering, nights.
