My wife and I made a pre planned stop here for some lunch and a break in our journey from South Wales to North Wales. Well worth it, not a big cafe and wasn't overly busy when we stopped fortunately. Very clean and maintained cafe, excellent service from the staff who were very polite and helpful. I ordered a ham & tomato sandwich, which came accompanied with a small salad and some crisps. My wife ordered a cheese quiche, accompanied with a salad see pictures. My wife ordered a regular hot chocolate, had 2 in fact and I ordered a glass of their local red wine, which was very nice not a full body wine. Actually bought a bottle to take away with us for £20. They also do a nice looking afternoon tea, which has to be ordered 48 hrs in advance. Would certainly recommend the food, service and staff here
Lovely place. Was really busy, struggled to park but the owner came out to assist me. Inside equally as busy but service was swift and really friendly. Food was great and as we are fairly local we certainly look forward to returning soon.nUpdate: We've returned a couple of times since, and enjoyed a tour of the Vineyard and the enthusiasm of the owner shone throughout. Afternoon tea afterwards was fantastic too. 100% recommended.
First visit and can't believe I've not been sooner! Lovely options, a few different vegetarian dishes which is always nice to have a choice. Food all homemade and delicious! We also had the tasting flight of 3 wines which was a fabulous addition to lunch on a day off. I only live a 10 minute drive away and have been tell all my friends about it. Looking to book a private tour next year as full now with the season almost over. Definitely recommend the cafe, local or visitor, its a lovely experience
Stopped in for afternoon tea, sandwiches and quiche were very nice, scones were dry and the remaining treats were all very sweet and berry tasting. It's a shame as they had some lovely cakes on display in the cafe, but they weren't included.nThe sparkling rose wine is lovely.
Absolutely brilliant experience. We planned a trip to Wales only a few days in advance and the vineyard was recommended to us. I called to book in afternoon tea and was delighted to find out they cater to gluten free! Everyone was so lovely on arrival and one of the chefs came out to explain all of the options on the afternoon tea. The gluten free bits were amazing!! Highly recommend! The grounds themselves are lovely, and we do hope to come back for a tour some time. We picked up a bottle of sparkling red on our way out - delicious!
