We were a group of 8 in the session for under 12s, but mixed age including younger teenagers and 2 fearless mothers. With 2 other visitors, a total of 10 had a member of staff to ourselves in the water who was both vigilant for safety and good fun, helping us bounce and fling each other off the bouncy obstacles. There is a good range of different sized wetsuits/ safety gear. The changing facilities are small, not separated into male/female, with about 4 shower cubicles and the area is part fronted by an entirely glass wall which is not ideal. Altogether though we had a great time.

I go for open water swimming. Its a wonderful setting - surrounded by the walls of an old quarry. Its great to swim in fresh water. Sessions are two hours so you have plenty of time to go as far as you want. You can also get a hot chocolate to warm up after - if you want to.

I have travelled around the UK visiting many wake parks and this is one of the top sites I have visited with regard to the location which is fantastic, the staff are great however I am not a fan of how much a ride on this cable costs. The memberships are way over priced. The experience seems rushed which is a shame as there is so much potential. I like to ride for a hour or two most weeks but I'm having to look else where because of the cost involved, but in saying that, if your an occasional rider or someone who wants to try it out then you couldn't go to s better place.

Went with the family to go on the wipe out course. Had a thoroughly enjoyable time, the staff were really friendly and the life guard helped us get the most out of our time. Would definitely recommend it for anyone and our under 5's even had a lovely time on the little beach.

We found this on line whilst looking for an open water swimming venue and ended up booking to do the wipeout aqua slide and wake boarding. Arriving you head down a tatty old track to the bottom of an old quarry and head to a blue prefab building that looks like it should be on a construction site (there are even pairs of rigging boots and boiler suits by the door) but once inside you are in a little quarry oasis. The building is glass fronted giving a great view of the activities and there is an outside area with bean bags. There is also food and a bar! The staff were very friendly and you feel very safe the whole time. You get an hour on the wipeout inflatable and when you swim out to it you wonder how you will fill your hour, but time flies when you are having fun. After sliding, slipping, jumping and falling off everything you find your time is up before you know it! Wake boarding was great , you book 15 minute slots and in that time you get coached (total beginners here and we all got up and going) to what ever level you are at. The place is fantastic and I highly recommend it ... my lovely
