I was a bit disappointed with my room, as some things were broken window lock, door chain, safe, wonky lampshadeor missing pad pouches in the bathroom, but as soon as I reported these to reception, LISA was on it, and got maintenance straight away. She was very apologetic, polite and professional and a pleasure to deal with. I would also like to mention bar staff,  HOLLIE and another whose name I didn't get.The location is superb,  with lovely and well maintained grounds,  and the private lunch party I attended was very well done, nice food, service, and room going out to the grounds. Recommended for such an occasion. All in all, I enjoyed my stay.

On a great value spa/meal and stay package — exceeded our value for money expectations.nBeautiful setting and building.nBreakfast - great quality food and touches like honey/jam “machines” , juice machine, pancake maker etc. all very clean and tidy.nStaff have been attentive throughout working on busy days in a very hot temperatures. Lisa on reception very chatty and helpful. Throughout the staff there was  great service from everyone. Hotel very clean and tidy throughout. Spa was clean and well maintained but was missing a “relax area” away from the poolside.nnWe will definitely be back for another stay and would recommend to others.nnDisagree with pushing the QR codes with staff names in for a reward. Some don’t have an opportunity to provide their details but were equally good as those who did provide a card.

Enjoyed a spa day with my daughter in law. The spa was wonderful Phoebe was amazing the facial was so relaxing. Our lunch was filling and the desert was delicious. Nicky the receptionist was very welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The staff make this hotel from the dining staff to the reception. We definitely will return. Jo and Siobhan

We stayed for one night in a family room. 2 adults and a  child. The room was very large and capable for many more children, I imagine it would comfortably fit 6. There was 2 king-sized beds plus an extra seating area with dressing table, you could remove the table and chairs to fit a sofa bed if more room was required. The water pressure in the shower was bob on, the room again was spacious. Overall i was pleased with the room, it was clean and I had a good night's sleep. The reception staff was very accommodating, helpful checking us in a couple of hours early and informative thank you Nicky. The food in the gallery restaurant was delicious. The hotel is walking distance to shops and restaurants.nI knocked a star off due to the hotel being a little dated, our room had a hole in the carpet, a chair and damage on the table. The Gallery restaurant wasn't in the usual place but downstairs in a room next to the bar. I felt like we had been dumped there, but once the food turned up I was happy as it was well presented and tasted beautiful.nI will happily come back here again, I might even bring the dog.

I booked a one-night stay for myself and my two cats at Kenwood while in the middle of moving houses; I don't think it's quite as common to bring cats instead of dogs but everyone was so kind and accommodating! The room was clean and spacious, and had modern amenities. I had to supervise the cats the entire time so unfortunately couldn't check out the rest of the hotel, but I will definitely be looking to book a return visit without my furry companions to check out the grounds and pool!
