Kentmere Academy is a Primary School and Nursery that caters for pupils aged 3 - 11 years.

Story

Kentmere Academy is fortunate to be situated in an area of Rochdale that serves a rich and diverse community with our pupils coming from a variety of backgrounds and many speaking English as an additional language.
We are a forward-looking school where we value academic success and extra-curricular achievement equally. The school is known for being friendly and open with a clear set of values agreed upon and respected by all members of the school community.
Academic excellence, a tailored curriculum, outstanding pastoral care and extra-curricular activities of an extraordinary range and quality are the cornerstones of the school.
Every pupil is nurtured and encouraged to fulfil their potential – our aim, to stretch the most able and support the least confident, informs and guides all that we do. We want all our pupils to achieve their best both academically and socially. Alongside this we promote an ethos where every child is valued as an individual, to help them to grow into caring and respectful young people who are able to get on well with each other and make a positive contribution to our community.
