Ticket office and toilets were closed, no staff available, disappointed
It's Christmas Day 2017 and this was supposed to be open months ago - still not finished. Looks good now, but how much longer will it be before the doors finally open and a train actually picks up passengers?nnMay 2018 and it's finally open. I haven't tried it yet, but I hope people make good use of it. The ticket office is smart with a toilet and a small cafe.
A smaller than expected station for a town this size but very quiet, with a single, short platform. There is no ticket barrier, but has a ticket machine and parking ticket machine for a small but typically almost empty car park. Has a pedestrian rail bridge to access the east side of town if required. The platform has the digital display which is more readable than the traditional dot-matrix display.
Newly opened in April 2018, Kenilworth station has good parking, an indoor waiting area where you can buy refreahments and a manned ticket office as well as ticket machines outside. There's a hourly service to Leamington and Coventry.
Small train station in a nice town. Good butcher and bakeries nearby. Ticket office and cafe never open and there are no ticket gates.
