Fantastic little set up here, great bar with viewing area of the pitch, great old school footy ground, lovely staff mostly volunteers I would imagine.
From the moment we arrived in Kendal we were made very welcome, a lovely town with plenty to do on non football days, the ground is about a 10 minute walk from the town but not strenuous at all, plenty of pubs and within walking distance although the club also has a great club house with beers on tap, friendly staff and very welcoming, entertainment was put on for us after the match, facilities at the ground, terracing on two sides and one covered stand where the players changing rooms are, food within the club house, toilets etc and a good view over the pitch if raining, a shed full of beer, a good size and decent crowd, all the fans were great and everyone I spoke to very friendly. Great club worth popping in, non league at its best for less than a tenner
Good value for money with a great atmosphere. A pleasing offer of food and drinks available to suit both adults and children. I must say that disability access is limited and on match day everyone congregates around the entrance so it can be a little difficult to get to the facilities. However the staff and supporters are very welcoming and helpful.
I've attended 2 games here with friends following AFC Liverpool sadly losing both and enjoyed good craic. It's good ground with decent supporters and an excellent clubhouse/bar. There's a stepped terrace behind one of the goals for an excellent view plus some cover on the sides just in case the weather is poor. Added bonus there's a cricket ground just across the road and one of our friends had an hour watching the cricket before watching the football
Bar's great with a great view of the pitch. Good choice of beers.Pies are excellen. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The icing on the cake. Very good standard of football and i would definitely recommend for a great day out.
