Second largest parish church in Cumbria. Well worth a visit. Lots of parking and walks by the river. Close to city centre.

Lovely church close to the river. Beautiful inside. Had the pleasure of meeting the vicar and shown the interior and given a map of complete history of relevant chapels, main altar, organ, and many more. Highly recommend popping in if you are visiting Kendal.

I visited as a spiritual tourist, not attending a service.

- Friendly welcome
- Photographs allowed
- Lots of history
- Palpable Spirit of prayer in the church
- Information in several languages

My family and I were particularly moved when sitting in the North chapel beneath the impressive corona: this feels like the prayerful heart of the community.
