The oldest building in Kendal, and one of the widest churches in the country, the parish church is extraordinary, beautiful, massive, well worth a visit.
Very picturesque, nice old Church dates back to 13th Century and the site back to 850AD.
An interesting church with an unusual rectangular plan and four arcades separating a series of aisles. We were greeted by a friendly volunteer and given a couple of leaflets about the church.
