This was a fantastic station for both arrival and departure, with one platform that is well-sized for the efficient services! The architecture is pretty, station sign has been maintained properly and exit leads out easily. Navigating back is the same through the sign and cleanliness had been enforced!
A small village town in the Lake district which is ideal for those who want to start their trekking.nThere are a few cafes and quick bites where you can get your energy recharged.nViews are amazing all over the town.
Has a platform but not always a train or a replacement bus service. No fear there is a help point - press this and you could be on hold for 20minutes like I was before giving upnTry calling a taxi - answered first time, now why did I walk to the station....
Very delapidated nowerdays unfortunately half shops empty, pubs closed & falling down. Half shopping centre empty with no escalators functional. Parking over priced
Gateway to the Lakes. Stock up in the supermarket before you go north!
