Visited the coffee shop well worth it and the word must be out, as after we arrived it just got busier and busier. After sampling the cakes I can see why fabulous arrangement of cakes the only problem being which do you choose. Lovely friendly staff good Covid safety measures in place outdoor seating in gorgeous surroundings. Lovely wildlife and a very friendly Robin that joins you looking for crumbs. So looking forward to going back and sampling more.
The staff were so helpful, excellent food, we had a party of 27 , the tearooms catered for everything, first time to go there for something to eat , i would go back again, a very enjoyable event,
Fantastic place, had a breakfast and it was amazing, all fresh food and the cakes are always a winner in our houseFood: 5/5
It was ok. Not blown away by the cod, prawn and chilli fish cake. Did not have much spice or flavour. Chips were well cooked and good. Tea was nice but had blue bits in it. The views were nice of the water features but the inside could do with being spruced up.
Nice coffee and cake, but the place looks and feels tired and a bit grubby, loos are particularly bad. No baby changing facilities and no light in the gents.Food: 4/5
Well what can I say,the place has gone down hill, I ordered a bacon sandwich, the bread was dry and the bacon wasn't even cooked, still pink and with the fat on ,which looked like it had just pulled out the packet and put on the bread, was pretty disgusting, my husband's breakfast stood on the hot place for 15 minutes and then they forgot to put something on his plate, so I was surprised it was even hot when he eventually got it, coffee was lukewarm, and a bit dispointing..service wasn't all that great ,don't think the staff really knew what they were doing.
Always a pleasure to dine out, the staff are great, the food and cakes are top notch! Highly recommend!!
Absolutely stunning food and great friendly staff. Highly recommended. Good view of the pond and garden. Outdoor seating which would be brilliant during summer.
The service is unmatched. The staff truly care about your experience and the food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Can’t think what cake we didn’t order after we polished off our breakfasts! who even eats cake in the morning….. a table of 6 did! Absolutely the best experience we have had for a very long time. Can now see why our local family constantly frequent this beautiful gem. We were made to feel very welcome and the views… well money simply can’t buy that ambience. Highly recommend. You looked after us so wonderfully. Upon leaving, we couldn’t help but notice a little old man sat by himself overlooking the water fountain reading his book can only assume he’s probably a regular, but the care and consideration paid to him by the staff was truly humbling, he didn’t need to raise a finger the staff were overwhelmingly accommodating. So again, from us Cambridge lot, ..until the next time.
Lovely food. Good prices.pretty garden dog friendly.Food: 4/5
