Unfortunately toilets are awful. The staff also seem to pay very little attention to what people wear around the pool area. I often see individuals wearing clothing that is clearly not intended for swimming.nnToday, support workers arrived with a disabled boy. They entered the pool area wearing outdoor clothes. They were not swimming, but they stood right next to the pool. I am not saying they should have been required to wear swimwear, but they could at least have put on flip-flops or pool shoes. Instead, they were walking around in their regular outdoor shoes, which is unhygienic and unacceptable.
Friendly staff. Swimming pool is clean warm with a max depth of 1.6m and a good minimum for the kids. My kids love it.
Staff always on hand to help.nRecommend you book on line to get in for a session especially senior swimming group. Teas/coffees and soft drinks available from reception
The pool itself is great but the changing spaces and toilets are not so good
BLACKS AREN’T WELCOMEDnnMy colleague and I are Black support workers accompanying a 13-year-old. From the moment we arrived at reception, the receptionist was rude and gave us unpleasant looks. The child we support was refused access to the pool because staff said she was “too big to look 13.” This comment was inappropriate and very upsetting for her, and it has affected her self-esteem. Very disappointing treatment.
