My last review of the kempston pool was of the poor state it was in and was glad it was read and I'm pleased to say,I received a reply from the new management. I'm happy now that all the pool and areas have been improved a lot and I can now say it should be continued so we can all enjoy the centre, just one more small area needs attention and that's the sauna, a bit of repair floor area. thanks for listening to the members concerns.
Great Aqua classes. Good instructors.nIt has recently been handed over to a new management company. They are trying to improve it and bring it upto a better standard. But it is still a tired venue.nCar parking.nChanging rooms
Unapproachable and rude staff, honestly go somewhere else. They have no proper changing facilities. The water’s cold and the whole place is a mess. They have no locked showers either and when you ask a question to staff they just give you dead answers! AVOID and safe your money
Don’t waste your money coming here. Staff at reception didn’t seem to know what was offered and didn’t give details about sauna etc as a new guest. The whole area smelt of urine, the changing rooms didn’t lock properly and were badly kept with hair, dirt on the floor. No showers to access the pool. You have to pay to use the hairdryer whereas with others this isn’t charged for. The pool itself was dirty with hair and tags and plasters floating around, not a great size either. The sauna equally small and dirty in its surrounding areas. Yes it’s cheaper than other leisure centres but it was not worth paying for. Needs a big revamp.
It was my first time at the swimming pool and it was quite enjoyable as I had my 6 year old with me and she loves going to this pool, I would have gave it 5 stars but I found it cold but would definitely recommend visiting this
