The timetable on the website is meaningless. Wasted time and effort going for adult and child session to be told timetable out of date! If you don't have the resources to update the web site then take it down.
The pool is quite centrally located, only a short ten or so minute walk from the square and not far from a bus stop, across the road from the Kelso Hospital and a short walk up the road from the doctors.nnParking is a tight squeeze around the back and is shared with the primary school, but there are always a couple of spaces and plenty of room to turn around.  The spaces closest to the back of the building by the pavement are for disabled parking.nnThere is a ramp for easy wheelchair and pushchair access.  The changing rooms are mixed as are the toilets at the back.  There are plenty of lockers for securing valuables and personal belongings, which is highly you're recommended and encouraged to use.  Not many lockers have working wristband but the keys can be left at reception or on the table by the pool.nnThe staff are awesome, very friendly and go out of their way to help. The classes are great and the instructors are really helpful and encouraging. There's always something on to suit all age groups.
This swimming pool is a wonderful place in Kelso. Reasonable prices and the pool is warm. Lots of space for lane swimmers and family fun.
Went there for public swim session at 2pm. It is my first visit as I am working in the area. Website said £4.50 to enter but I was only charged £2.90, a nice bonus. The pool was very typical of the style of local authority but clean, fresh and well serviced. Only two other adults and no kids in the pool for whole session, even though it is school hols!
Ok for a swimming pool. Changing rooms mopped/squeegeed frequently so not like a second pool. Temperature of pool good but take towel into pool area as ambient can be but nippy, specially if showers full.
