Mel’s cakes are the best, nothing is too much trouble for her. Her cakes tastes and look amazing. Her attention to detail is amazing. I have also brought Mel in to run a cake decorating workshop for Military children which went down a storm. It was the most popular session of our Summer Programme in 2022!
Mel made me son’s cake for his 4th birthday and it was fabulous! We sent her an idea of what we wanted and honestly I don’t think anyone could have done better. It was a huge talking point at his party and it was the tastiest cake we’ve ever had. Thanks for making a little boy so super happy!
Mel makes the most delicious cakes that are always stunning. She made our vegan chocolate wedding cake and everyone thought it was delicious. Looked absolutely beautiful too! I would definitely recommend :

Very disappointed. Did not stick to the brief, it was meant to be red velvet with chocolate ganache, it was over baked, tasted burnt and dry as a bone, the ganache was poor and also had white chocolate too which hadn't been requested. The fondant fell off the cake when trying to cut it as it wasn't attached properly to the cake. The colour was more a dark burnt orange rather than the rose gold we asked for. Definitely wasn't worth all the money I paid for it! I definitely will not be using this service again.
Mel has done our cakes for the last few years now. And everyone has been amazing and we can't complain. Very talented and highly recommended.
Mel stepped in at the last minute to make some cupcakes for my son's birthday after the original lady I booked was ill. They were delicious and Mel really saved the day. Will definitely use again.
