Nice meal, great staff. Prices here are exceptionally good. Food was cooked perfectly & the starter was absolutely beautiful.  The wrong meal was brought out first, but it was rectified in less than 2 minutes.  I will definitely go back, might even go back tomorrow.

Decent restaurant with good varieties of arabic dishes. Shawarma was good along with the doner kebab and rice. Spice level was of medium range.Food: 4/5

I really enjoyed the food here.  Yes the decor is a bit dated but at the end of the day the food was on point and exceeded expectations.  The services was friendly and efficient. We didn't wait too long for our food and we didn't have to beg for sauces, napkins and cutlery.  The mixed grill was served on a sizzler and it was so nice with the caramelised onions at the bottom. The only thing I didn't really like on the platter were the wings as they lacked flavour.  One dish that took me by surprise was the fish naan kebab which is fried haddock. It was not overdone with spices and was very light and crispy.  If you're after a nice meal you can't go wrong. Yeah it's not one for the gram but you can't fault the food.

I had Lamb Kofta, which arrived hot, good portion size & prepared well. Service was attentive & polite. It was quite full when I was there, music playing in the background, which was a nice touch as it wasn't loud. My table wasn't 100% clean when I was sat by the waiter, which was a shame really.Food: 5/5

Lovely food but we didn't get everything we asked for and it was really cold in the booth we were sat in when the door was opened. Food was fabulous though Food: 5/5

Kebabish Original Review  The Kebabish Original Restaurant Chain was founded in 1986 to create their own niche for healthy, flavoursome grilled food called the ‘Thrill of the Grill’, a food type enjoyed by all. They aim to serve some of the best Indian and Pakistani cuisines as well as mouth watering starters and grill food.  Their grill dishes have been inspired by the use of charcoal for cooking. The spices are sourced from all four corners of the world to give their food a truly unique and ‘moorish’ flavour.  We visited the branch in Huddersfield. The restaurant is located in the Town Centre, therefore all parking is Pay & Display.  The restaurant deco is a bit dated and old which could do with a upgrade. There is a good amount of seating available.  The menu is a large laminated sheet, with plenty of options for all including many vegetarian items.  For starters, we ordered the Chicken Pakoras which are succulent chicken pieces dipped in flavoured batter & deep fried. You can also add a portion of chips on the side. The pakoras tasted amazing.  For the mains, we chose the Shahi Naan Kebab. This comes with Chicken Tikka, Donner meat and Seekh Kebab. This was a great choice as we could try a bit of everything. It was all freshly cooked and tasted delicious.  We also got just the Lamb Donner kebab, this was just lamb donner but was a bit too much for our liking.  The Nan Kebabs came with a generous amount of salad and a fresh hot naan. At the table there are sauces to add to your naan kebabs such as yoghurt chutney, chilli sauce and ketchup. The portions are very generous and fulfilling!  All the food here is very reasonably priced and good value for money.  Kebabish Original Huddersfield is HMC certified.  Our Rating: 7/10

The best cheap takeaway in Huddersfield hands down. It's nothing fancy, just done really well with fresh cooked kebabs and whole chickens if you like. Far better than a macciesFood: 5/5

Always a great experience. Food arrives in decent time. Tastes brilliant. Value for money is excellent
