"Family run business for many years here in Marino. We pride ourselves on being a good local where you can meet up with friends over a nice pint, a good meal or to catch a match,golf, racing, darts or in fact any sports being shown on the TV.We serve home cooked food like Irish Stew and Coddle. We hand cut our own chips. We have our Spanish Tapas night every Thursday from 5pm. We have homemade burgers, slow cooked pork ribs, chicken wings, daily roast specials and fresh fish. Then finish off with a nice homemade dessert if you have room or just leave the room for a few nice creamy pints of Guinness."

Really good food and sweet staff. Loved the atmosphere. Highly recommend their stew it is perfect.
We were so pleasantly surprised by lunch at the old haunt of Kavanaghs Marino House. The chicken wings were sublime. My friend had the burger and it looked incredible. The coffee was really good. The menu looks really good, nice comfort food, very Irish menu i.e. Bacon and Cabbage, Irish Stew. Looking forward to trying more dishes. They also have Tapas Thursday so nothing ventured nothing gained.

Visiting Dublin and was looking for a Live Music venue on northside. Found Kavanaghs Malahide Road on Google "Live Music Every Saturday". Got there and bought a vodka and coke for €9.20. A guy then came on singing very loudly to backing tracks. This is just karaoke with one singer all night. I stayed for an hour and watched the place empty by 50%....... Please don't advertise this as live music. Live music means someone is actually playing music LIVE and also remember this is a local bar and should not be charging 5 star hotel prices. Pub life is changing in Dublin and it's up to the people to stand up to price gouging. In my case it was too late to go anywhere else. I felt ripped off on two counts and overall it left a very bad taste. I must also say it is a well run clean lounge with excellent friendly staff. tracks
