What a find... great food and lovely friendly staff. We didn’t know what to expect or how to order, so we’re assisted by a very friendly waitress. Also, as I have a nut allergy so chef was excellent I’m advising which dishes I could and could have, and went out of her way to ensure everything used to prepare my meal was changed or washed to avoid cross contamination. The portion sizes are massive! We couldn’t finish ours meal!
Good range of veggie and vegan options. Had the Bang Bang with tofu and aubergine, sauce was great. Quick service over lunch too. Have seem some of the earlier reviews and they seem to have addressed the issues.
The place was amazing, I was in Belfast for only a few days and this place got recommend to me. We got a table to sit immediately, and free water and tea that tasted really good throughout the whole time we were there. Food was a huge portion and really tasty, we could even take home our leftovers to enjoy the next day! Also a very clean bathroom, which I highly appreciate.
A hidden gem - my friend called this wonderful place! I first came here with my dogs and was delighted with the wonderful welcome. I have been at least 5 times since then, with my dogs. but went today with 2 non-dog owners. The food is to die for and the BYO option - well, what can I say.?? I will never get tired of this wonderful place and the friendly, efficient and informative staff. PS granny's tai tea is out of this world!
Pleasant tasting food & decent portion BUT TERRIBLE SERVICE. No greeting, we had to sit ourselves, waited ten minutes before we where even acknowledged, staff and chefs on mobiles, in general just a terrible experience, one I would not pay for again! EDIT. To address your reply, after standing at the door we had to ask the chef ourselves if we could sit, whilst the only waitress was having what appeared to be a meeting during service. At that point two tables hadn't been served and the table that came in after us got served first. We still hadn't been spoken to or given tea 10 minutes after entering we never received water that evening. After giving our order, the wrong food was then offered to us. While we understand that the POS system is on mobile, we could clearly see all staff on their mobiles while we where waiting for bill/table to be cleared. Like I said before, the food was tasty and portion size was good. We love supporting local businesses and want to see your business succeed, but the customer service and attention to small details like these needs to be improved.
I had a really nice time at this wee place.The staff were so nice and the food was great, so much so I will be back.Portions of food were great it was my first time there and as a veggie there was a great choice.I left feeling full A+ to them all.
Went with 5 work colleagues and couldn't have enjoyed the experience more! Food/atmosphere/ service all fantastic! Everyone saying they can't wait to go back again..
Great Katsudon in town, yummy!!! Has so much choice, fish pork seafood chicken and veggies.
Best katsu curry I've ever had. Proper authentic food.
