I don’t normally post reviews but this place was amazing. Me and my husband had the nicest experience from start to finish. Our first time in Harrogate and we was just going for a walk and we came across this place and decided to try it, even though we were a bit hesitant as we were not dressed for here at all, that did not make a difference. The staff were amazing could not do enough for us even brought over a free drink. I would most definitely recommend this place and we will definitely be visiting again on our next trip to Harrogate. Keep the amazing work up Taverna
LOVED IT. Atmosphere was alive! Staff was excellent. Hospitable. Warm. Understanding. We had kids Slovakia, a mixed grill and the Taverna salad. The salad, was nothing like I expected. And I couldn't stop eating it. Fresh, light, perfectly balanced. The grills were superb, as expected from a top-notch restaurant. Heartfelt and wholly recommended this treasure. And I noted, each guest seemed to having a great time and enjoying their splendor.
Very nice food, lovely service and food value. We opted for the early bird. Early bird portions were a little small so next time we will have the normal dishes. Excellent price still.
I had a brilliant sea bass dinner at Taverna Harrogate. I hadn't reserved a table but they were able to squeeze me in. The atmosphere was nice, the service absolutely lovely and the food was so delicious! Can't recommend enough!
I was visiting the area of Harrogate with a close friend, a little trip during Easter weekend. We booked a table at Taverna Harrogate. Such a lovely restaurant, friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely have to visit again. Kind Regards, Aaron
Amazing food and amazing staff. We both had Souvlaki and then Baklava for dessert, all delicious! It seemed busy but staff were high spirited and fun and we didn't have to wait long for our food. Would absolutely visit again if we come back to Harrogate!

This is a very busy restaurant. First time we have tried Greek. Apart from the waiter bringing that wrong wine and a spoon for the beef stifado everything was great. Staff were very apologetic and mistakes were rectified straight away. We tried the meat mezze for 2 person's and weren't disappointed. There was lots of dishes and really very filling. Unfortunately we didn't have room for dessert. The baclava did look delicious though. Well worth the visit .
Amazing food at great prices but what made this restaurant a truly great dining experience was the staff. It felt like they were a family who'd invited us into their home for a meal. They looked after our group's every need with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. After a long journey this was the perfect welcome to Harrogate.Food: 5/5
Very friendly service - warm serving staff and lots of fun to be served by them. Great for big groups. Our food experience was alright. More vegan options would be good and freshness salad / veggies on the veggie platter. Also would have favoured to have the spanakopita which was for some reason reserved only for the bigger veggie platter. My lamb was done very nicely however and the wine was very nice. If I could give 3.5 I would.
