Kaplan Interational

The classes were quite disappointing to me. You'll receive a book which is rarely used during the class and mainly learn English with some copies of another book. The class repeats introducing new grammar and few minutes to answer the question and then pair/group talking before checking the correct answer. Also, when the teacher is absent, you'll be sent to an unexpected museum or other places. They just skipped the class and replaced it with an unexpected museum tour which is not even a tour. You have to go there with your money and enjoy yourself there which you could do all by yourself in your free time not on the time you expected to learn English. No additional guide or explanation were provided. The next day, there was a backup teacher and we had to learn sth that was not in the context with the last class of the prior teacher. Additionally, you can't change the class freely. The office staff told me "We have hundreds of students and you can't change the class whenever you want". I felt I'm not respected at all. She could react in different way. Social activities are not well maintained. For example, at the Pub Night, for some reason, there were no seats for Kaplan students at the pub and we had to walk for more than 20 mins to find another one which wasn't finally found. They have hundreds of students like they said, but they don't seem to cope with enough flexibility when things change. Lastly, about a teacher, the teacher couldn't control the class even when a student makes fun of another student's pronunciation. I don't think every teacher in Kaplan is like what I experienced but you may need to consider these things I described above before spending your money and time here. Overall, I think this school is overpriced compared to the ways they provide the classes and programs.

I was expecting better courses, the first week was a bit boring. But the staff pay attention to us, so me and my friend could change our class the 2nd week. However, there are not much activities to get to know more the other students.

The school was well organised and the staff is very friendly. The classes match your level and the teachers are always happy to help. It is a very good school and I had a wonderful experience.

I had such a good time in London especially thanks to the atmosphere created by Kaplan school. In addition to English lessons, it gave me the opportunity to meet people from different countries, to share opinions, and to enjoy the time together.

Excellent teachers though some of they school facilities weren' t so great

The worst school I've ever been toThe teacher changed four times in a month. The reason is that the wages are low. The students are overflowing but the teachers are not enough. Many teachers are from non-English speaking countries. Even the expressions and words used are American pronunciations and expressions. My class's teacher says toilet - 'bathroom' , film - 'movie' Not only that, but all the expressions. I don't know why I came all the way to London for such an expensive price. It's hard to make foreign friends as well.There is a little activity, but most of the students do not participate. If you want to change classes, you have to wait a few weeks. The worst school ever. Avoid Kaplan if you don't want to waste your money

This is a disaster. My sister registered but did not have the visa and now they won't pay the tuition fees back. I have been calling and now my calls are rejected.i just won't let this slide. Too much money

The lessons were interesting and challenging for the most part, the staff is usually well prepared and the school is over all well taken care of

Once in a lifetime experience...In 3 weeks I was able to improve my English and many other aspects of my life, I'll be always grateful

It doesn't worst my money at all. I spent two months here but I wasn't learn anything. Some staffs are not welcome and kind of rude. Teachers here some good and some bad. The lessons were unprepared, disorganize. Moreover, the ability of explanations is fail. I putted highly expectation and was looking forward to it for years...…DISAPPOINTED!!!!!
