I went to Kantata Audio for a demo of a Hegel amp last week. John, the owner, took time before I went to see what I wanted and what me expectations were and what improvements I wanted to my system I was made welcome and there were a number of amps and sources ready for me to listen to. There was no pressure and we chatted about music and hifi, and the systems we were listening to. I still wasn't sure and I was offered a home demo, which I gladly accepted. John arrived dead on time with the amp I wanted to hear and some spare cables in case they were needed. John set it up and explained what went where and how things worked Once again I felt no pressure, and was asked what I thought about the sound, rather than being told what I should hear. At the same time John is obviously very knowledgeable and I couldn't be happier with the service I got from Kantata Audio, and their approach to selling, which seems to be "let the product do the selling". Definitely recommend a visit if you are in the market for quality hi-fi. The amp I bought was a Hegel Rost
I recently bought a Hegel amplifier from Kantata, great experience from initial contact to delivery. Nothing is too much bother and home demo was provided which is the key to selecting high end gear. There was a delay in shipping from the manufacturer so Kantata gave me a loan amplifier until the new one arrived. Very well thought out product line and great service. Excellent
I was interested in hearing a Hegel amp and John was extremely helpful, patiently demonstrating different amp and speaker combinations. I ended up going for the H120 and am very happy with it. Overall a great level of service and highly recommended!
