Went into this garage to get a price for new 4 tyres, they said they would phone me with a price, when I left the office and got into my car, an employee came out of the workshop (MAN) and started shouted abuse at me, I have him on my dash camera and I switched on my body camera, he shouted you can record me, I never got a phone call about the price of the tyres I wanted, I phoned the company and asked to speak to the owner, but could only get the Manager, I told him about one of his employees in a blue boiler suit coming out of his workshop and started shouting abuse at me, he did not seem to be concerned, he gave me a price for the four tyres, but they were cheaper elsewhere, even if they had offered the tyres for FREE I would not have gone back to get them when with they have a lunatic that shouts abuse at a prospective customer.

I bought a new car battery for a Micra from Kairdson and was charged £98 for the privilege. a quick check online showed the battery was available for £48 upwards. That would not include fitting but that hardly demands more than 10 minutes and even he most ham-fisted can fit a battery. ATS had a similar battery with the same 3-year guarantee for £54. Kairdson justified the charge by stating it was fitted. So is the AST battery. I always want to buy locally to support local businesses but at this price I will be looking elsewhere and only using Kairdson as a last resort. I regard the charge for the battery as a rip-off. I know I should have confirmed the price beforehand but I assumed they would be reasonable. I could have driven to Aberdeen and back and still saved £30. I could have ordered it online and saved £50.
