I stayed at the Leonardo Hotel in Sheffield in August. The hotel itself looks lovely — the lobby and bar area are really nice and welcoming. However, the rooms feel a bit dated, and the bathroom was just okay.nnWhat really let the experience down was the customer service. I accidentally left a book behind that holds great sentimental value to me. Despite doing everything I could — emailing, calling, and following up — I’ve been ignored or passed around with no real help. It’s been really upsetting, as this isn’t just another book to me, and even now I haven’t received a proper response or resolution.nnIt’s such a shame, because the hotel could have left a much better impression if the staff had simply shown a bit of care and communication.
Stayed for couple of nights with Family over Bank Holiday weekend. Staff were friendly, Decent breakfast. Standard Rooms neat and tidy. Best part was the location - right in the city centre with close proximity to Moor Street and Food joints. Hotel does have a car park in the basement however for some reasons it was only accessible from outside the hotel. Only thing which I think can be added to improve Customer experience is water bottles in Standard rooms. May be something for the management to consider during summer times.
Great professional reception staff who provide a great start to our stay . Room warm and cosy and both the room and the bathroom were spotless. Breakfast is also superb with plenty of choice and fresh produce. Situation of the hotel is perfect for all the city has to offer.
I was able to check in over an hour and a half early.nThe room was a very good size.nThe breakfast was absolutely fantastic, so much choice, including bagels, crumpets, fry up, fruit salad, all the cereals and toppings you'd want.
The receptionist who greets me, woman, dark hair, round glasses, not very tall always gives me the nicest welcome, she recognizes me by name and I always feel well looked off. She is a fantastic asset for the hotel
