As a landlord, I always strive to ensure that the property is fit and in a great shape for the next person to move into, and when it comes to junk removal service, I always rely on this company. The guys are hard working, always paid great attention to hauling the stuff without causing any damage to the house and never leave a mess. I've never had any problems in regards to appointments or payments with them, so I would recommend them to anyone who needs such service.
The service was carried out impeccably, we have no complaints. The waste collectors arrived fifteen minutes late, but they phoned us priorly to tell us. They were polite and carried out their job quickly and efficiently.
The junk removal service provided by this company was quick in all aspects. Just a day after my call, their guys were at our property, dealing with the clearance of the garage. We just needed to get rid of all the useless and unwanted items and that's what we got. The only down side was the price, but having in mind how quickly it all happened, it was well worth it.
We just needed to get rid of the construction waste left from the last month kitchen renovation, and of course, the wisest decision was hiring a junk removal company. Honestly, I've expected a bit lower price for the service, but actually agreed on it and made an appointment. The van arrived when I was told it would, the guys started working right away and no matter it was rainy that day, they did a quick and satisfying job. Well done.
Our garage was full of stuff that we definitely didn't need, so we started looking for company that can help us with the clearance. My husband asked our neighbour for a recommendation and he told us about these guys. The man from their office that I spoke with if my memory serves me correctly, his name was Jamie was nice to talk with and provided all the information that I needed about the service. The guys that came were hardworking and friendly. They were very respectful of our property, taking time to clean up after themselves. No hidden fees at the end. Thanks.
Initial contact with Junk Please was good. They were able to fit us in at short notice to arrange the rubbish collection and their pricing structure seemed to be clear and concise. However when our miserable waste operatives attended our property they were half an hour late we were effectively bullied into paying more than I had been quoted as the waste was, in their words, inaccessible and more than described. I was then forced to speak to a supervisor on the phone to discuss this new price and was basically told "Take it or Leave it". Very difficult when you have already removed the majority of the rubbish from the property onto the street ready for loading. Our waste operatives were like yin and yang. One was very helpful and efficient, the other not so. The latter seemed to do everything in his power to not collect the awkward or heavy items, choosing instead to stay on the van and receive them from his colleague and me. In discussion with the firm after the rubbish had been collected they agreed, based upon photos I sent them, that there was approximately the amount I had asked to be quoted for in the first place but said the price I was charged was appropriate. Even though this was higher than the initial quote. This firm effectively reel you in with the promise of maximum prices and then make up whatever charge they want when on site - effectively abusing their monopoly status. UPDATE - Since posting this first review I have been contact by Junk Please with the assurance that they will look into their communication with customers and that their waste operatives charge appropriate rates for services provided.
We hired this company to remove some old furniture we no longer needed in our home. From the initial contact to the job done, everything well smoothly with these guys. They came on time and got started right away. I must say they were really clean in their work - not a trace of junk left. The price was reasonable as well. Thank you guys.
Having had more than a poor experience with another contractor before, I was delighted to find these guys. I needed to have my basement cleared out and all the junk removed. After a quick search on the web, I found this company. I called them for a quote and asked if they could do it on the next day as I had to leave the country in two days. They came on the next day morning and got on the job without any fuss. Despite the fact they worked a bit slow, I was happy with the service provided and I would call them again if I need.
On the phone and in-person they were really nice and friendly people. We needed to dispose of an old couch which was so big and heavy we couldn't have moved it ourselves. I called Junk Please on Tuesday around 7pm, on Wednesday at 11am the rubbish removal crew got at home and loaded the sofa up in about 10 minutes. I highly recommend contacting these guys, thank you!
When the Junk Please team arrived at my apt they were extremely friendly and ready to get to work. There was some old furniture that had to be disposed off. I had some clothes closets, chairs, boxes, wood and some old wooden storage chest that also had to go. I was amazed at how not only careful and agile they were but they were also very strong! They moved some heavy pieces rather quickly and efficiently! Excellent service and much cheaper than I expected. The guys were very prompt and respectful, overall the process was extremely fast, easy, and best of all, stress free. If I ever need junk removal again, there's no question that I'll be calling them.
