Been there a few times and am usually happy with their food. It's good but not great food and certainly doesn't justify the premium. On the last occasion, me and my wife went to have the all you can eat. Unfortunately it’s not as described. The staff there challenge you if you order too much of a certain item. I like starters more than the mains but the staff refused to bring out a second portion of prawn toast. It's just the attitude I don't like. It really put a downer on the evening. In future I’ll travel a little further and pay less of a premium for better quality food and friendly staff. It’s a shame as the restraint is local and I always try to support my high street.
Me and my boyfriend frequently order from this restaurant and never had a problem. Last 4 takeaways there's been nothing but issues, food being late considering we are less than a 10 minute drive away Missing food, when calling to discuss the missing dish staff are apologetic and advise us they'll send us another. We get a call back by 2 separate members of staff asking what was missing. Delivery driver arrives and hands over something completely different! When ringing them back to discuss this for the fourth time they were rude. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Will never order from them again.
Ordered a takeaway last night, everyone woke during the night to take turns in returning the food to the sewage system via one of the two available options. Unfortunately my option was out my face. Not fun; avoid if you prefer not to have food poisoning with your takeaway.
I went here on Friday evening 10.6.16 with three friends. We decided on a table near the kitchen. I was curious as to why we could not here any of the usual sounds associated with a Chinese kitchen ie. talking and sounds of Spoons turning food being cooked in large Woks. During the meal I went to the toilet and sneaked into the kitchen and what I found confirmed my suspicions. No one was actually cooking any food. None of the food here is cooked fresh, it is either brought in from wholesalers or pre-cooked and warmed in microwave or normal ovens. Another thing confirmed our thoughts when one of my party requested Chicken in Black Bean Sauce. The waitress informed him that he could only have Beef in Black Bean Sauce. Surely, if it were cooked to order all that would need to be done is to substitute Chicken for Beef. All the food was very bland and tasteless especially the Peking Duck which was as dry as cardboard. NEVER AGAIN!
It was my first time at jun ming last night and the food was excellent and so was the service. The waiter who served us did an excellent job. I would recommend for a good night out!!
Excellent restaurant with polite, friendly and efficient staff. If you have any special requirements they are happy to do what they can to give you what you want. Highly recommended.
Food was really disappointing and so was the service. Used to go here a lot, really gone downhill.
