This establishment was mediocre at best in my opinion. The cafe itself is well furnished, warm and comfortable and the staff seemed ok however, On entering, we were left guessing as to whether we should approach the counter or find a seat as nobody acknowledged us. The food was good quality even though they got my order wrong and I didn't get what I wanted. The price was way over the top. I ordered a full English breakfast and two lattes and my child had scrambled eggs and toast and an orange juice and a small potion of icecream which was served in a teacup. This cost thirty pounds in total which I would have been ok with if the service had been good and my order correct.

Top quality food. Service can be slower at busy times...which is often (I suspect because it's good!) but staff are always courteous.

Over charged. And lost property that was confirmed there went missing. All in all a very expensive visit.

lovely little place but seriously what's wrong with using plates? got a lovely sandwich served on a chopping board with a mini pail full of chips! I didn't stop for dessert lest the ice cream be served in a wheelie bin or shopping trolley ;)

Went in about 14:30 Saturday 30th September 2017. Nice young man came to take order he seemed new but very helpful. Ordered Chocolate and Americano (no m8lk or sugar), alsoa Pain au chocolate and bread twist. We waited & waited. On the next table 2 adults and 2 children had ordered. The mail suddenly said I can’t wait any longer make it a take away, got h8s order and went. 2 women behind counter didn’t seem to be doing much especially our order. 30 minuets later our order arrived. Very nice but spoilt because of the wait. Our bill £13.00 all but a few pennies!!!!! Asked for a receipt but when I go home no breakdown of order so couldn’t check prices. I am told this is popular with very very LOUD local ladies. First & last visit and we go to bank opposite quite often. Lost a normally good customer and people I will/have told. Spoke to a few local people who told me later “Yes yo are correct loud local ladies sometimes with even louder kids”
