Okay for the kids- play equipment seemed to keep them entertained as it should...service and coffee left a lot to be desired. Staff didn't seem to want to be there and considering we got in at the start of a session the previous sessions finished drinks and plates hadn't been cleared...despite a gap between sessions. My coffee didn't taste like it had any coffee in it at all. I know a latte is meant to be light but seriously...see picture I asked for them to put some coffee in it as explained it didnt taste like there was much/any coffee in there at all. However the response was that's how we do all the coffees and you will have to pay for a shot of coffee. Needless to say I didn't buy anything else from them after that!
Great place for kids of all ages tucked away off the main road from Chester to Airbus, just before the Bretton turning. Very reasonably priced, good service, plenty of seating area although this can get filled up at weekends. Huge softplay area suitable for all ages and a separate smaller softplay area for toddlers. Come here often, Arthur gets to tire himself out and have fun, I get couple of hours with the Kindle
Really good places for kids. Plenty for the litte ones to do and food is really nice.
Good all round play area. Recently taken over but not given a makeover so still a little dated. Having said that there's a good separate, safe play area for the up to 4's and a larger good play area for the 4's upwards. The tables are well spaced and where you can mostly always see what's going on so well done there. Toilets clean but dated. Food slow but good and well priced. There's a disco and party room too. In all honesty if they just refreshed things a little this would be 5 stars never the less your kids won't be dissapointed .... or care about the decor !!!
First visit for some years as grandchild was no longer eligible. 2nd grandchild now eligible. What a joy little one loved their time there this after noon. The refurbishment was really lovely to see . Everywhere was spotless. Staff were lovely so inviting and so friendly. Thank you for a lovely 2 hrs of fun. We will be back.
Came on Saturday afternoon, it was manic, although the place wasn't overly packed there clearly weren't enough staff on. Had to wait about 10 -15 minutes to be served to go in. Once in every table was covered in old customers plates, food, drinks, mugs. I had to move stuff off one table onto another. Once the staff had no one to serve you'd of thought they'd of tried to start clearing tables but they just stood behind the toll area.. Parents clearly don't pay much attention to their children - a child running up and down the slide, knocked my little boy over so we left. Won't be returning. Majorly gone down hill!
Friendly staff, nice food, fantastic purpose built play centre for younger children, without the risk of being hurt by older ones, so perfect for my 3 year old grandaughter's birthday surprise and miles of entertainment for my 1 year old grandaughter. Would definately recommend and come again.
There is a 3 and under section and a 3+ section. The 3+ section is much bigger and those under 3 may play there with adult supervision. There is also a corner with about 3-5 car rides that you can pay for with coins. These are the kinds you might find outside a supermarket or by a shopping center. There is a larger-than-expected menu given the location and size of the kitchen. The food isn't bad, but it's not great either. It's a bit pricy for what you're getting, but if you're starved and your child ins't finished playing it's a decent solution. My 1.5 year old nephew had a blast playing here, he went down the large slide in the 3+ section with his dad just fine.
So apparently even though this website is still up and running the company has changed hands and although it's still advertising an entrance fee of £2.50 it's actually nearly double at £4 for any age child it seems. To add insult to injury we order food at 11.20 by 12.15 it still had not arrived and people who where behinds in queue ordering same dish served before us, no apology was offered until my friend had to complain and ask for refund and to forget food order her child had gone past the point of hunger and upset and needed a nap and to top it of the chef parked blocking in my friend. How can you warrant charging nearly double with no referbishment or new and working toys. The food that I waited for over an hour later was appalling the pizza burnt the salad old and wilted and the burger dry and like cardboard. Needless to say will not return.
Visited today very noisy told 1 hour wait for food in fact waited 1 and half hours. Person on counter came over to apologise on a number of occasions then said fryer had broken we said can we just have our sandwiches without chips. Food arrived it was terrible. Unable to eat it. Only one person serving so no tables were cleared in the two hours we spent there. They offered us a free cake and refunded food money. Cake was awful. Will not visit again.
