A beautiful beach side with an award for best beaches.nIt is totally different to pleasure beach side which has become too crowded.nThis side is so calm and well maintained.nThe mix of sand and stones and plenty of sea shells at the beach.nWashrooms nearby and an open washing area for kids after sea bath.nI absolutely loved it.
A little run down but worth a visit with your skate board.
Nice bit of grass. Half of it is walled off at the moment for some reason, there's an enormous pile of giant rocks on the other side. I had a nice picnic in there with Nicola and Ivy the other day so now it will always be special to me.
Visited with the family at the weekend and we had a great time! Parking was reasonable, only £2 for 3 hours.nnThe wide open grass area is perfect for playing sports and was clean and free from dog mess and litter.nnThere are three play parks around the edge of the grass with a variety of equipment sizes meaning there should be something for any child to play on regardless of age. There was also a skate park which looked clean and tidy.nnOverall I would highly recommend visiting if you want somewhere nice to visit on a weekend. A nice bonus is that it is so close to the sea that even if you turn up and the tide is in, you can just kick a ball around until it goes out.
Great access to the beach...Lovely to walk towards Fleetwood..and look at the sunset!
