I visit jubilee colliery regularly with the dog's. It's a nice ,quiet, enclosed walk. Has a large grassy area which is ideal for letting the dog's off lead. The grounds of the old mill and lake are very interesting to explore. Some great routes to get onto the Moors too.
Love taking the dogs for a walk here. Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings.
What an amazing little place. Just off the bends and down a track. All the old kilns are there to see and the car park is right at the side of them. Great to stop off at if you're driving by.Visited onWeekday
Lovely place and so close to the road and tram and yet you could be miles away. Spoke with Miriam, one of the volunters/guides who showed myself and my great niece around. She was very informative on the site itself and about the building remains. Will visit again. remains remains remains
Pretty good, had a bit of a mess around, nice piece of history. Can pass behind some sheds or something to go behind the old mill and get to the small lake. There is a footpath aswell. Dont go to close to windows on the mill or inside because its collapsing but it also is filled with asbestos, so just be careful round there
Great little place to see some history, enjoy the peacefulness and wildlife, or possibly use as a base to head out for a longer walk.
I walk the dog here at any given chance.. Love how comforting it is.
Quiet but really interesting. Great walk around the site.
It could have been more interesting if there were signs explaining what the areas were used as.
