Working away and this place was only down the road. Had small fish and chips with curry one day. It was really good! Only let down was the portion size but I did get small to be fair. The second day I got a deep fried cheeseburger which was interesting ha ha. Not a bad place tho would definitely go back.

This the best fish and chips ever. Last year when I visited knaresborough i tried here and it was the best. This year the first thing i had is this fish and chips, still it stands best fish and chips. Especially the chicken nuggets Wow..

This is about JR'S fish shop in Normanton. What a disappointment the sauce's are watered down and you can tell the batter is very thin and disgusting last time I went in the batter was lovely and crispy and the sauce's was more gorgeous. i don't know what's gone on with this fish shop but I will not be going in it again as a customer and it's sad that they dont listen to customers when they try to give feedback. The 2 workers that are always in do everything so perfect and delicious and very well mannered. And in West Yorkshire we love our Yorkshire fish cakes and if they did start selling them for the RIGHT AMOUNT OF MONEY and made properly they would make more money.

The best fish chips peas and curry I have had for a long time absolutely delicious... staff a bit unfriendly mostly interested in each other...but hey its the food that matters   Tuesday 16th August...disappointed today the peas and curry where watery and the fish wasn't as fluffy, chips where good and the batter maybe just an off day. ..
