I cannot stress how amazing Ingrid is at her job! Ingrid is a superstar! I felt so comfortable throughout the whole process; she is a true professional and credit to Joyce Guiness. I have met with many recruiters in the past, however, Ingrid stood out from the rest with her fabulous personality and real passion for what she does. Unlike other recruiters I have dealt with, Ingrid is focused on finding what suits both the individual and company. She really took the time to listen to what I was looking for and was hands-on in helping me take that next step in my career. Everyone I have spoken with in the office was always so friendly and went above and beyond. I truly cannot thank Ingrid and the team at Joyce Guiness. Huge thanks to Ingrid, Clare, Lucy and Jessie for all your help!
Ingrid was extremely helpful in getting a connection of mine a junior entry position, and explained to her very clearly and succinctly the processes involved. I would definitely use her to source candidates for my own business based on my experience, and we were very comfortable with how she kept us informed throughout the employment. I noticed a negative review of her from a school teacher of English on this site who complained about being tested on reading and writing as part of pre-employment screening, so I did note with some humour the grammatical and spelling errors from this candidate in their review! This shows it's impossible to keep everyone happy, but keep up the good work JG. Thanks Ingrid for all your help we will be in touch soon.
Clare Ashcroft at Joyce Guiness is the best recruiter I’ve ever worked with and I have been a PA for 8 years. She is super professional whilst still being friendly, she really understands her candidates needs and always went above and beyond to help me in my job search. I couldn’t recommend Joyce Guiness enough for any PA looking for their next role.
Ingrid was fiercely relentless in finding me the perfect role and now I am the happiest I have ever been in any employment since living in London for 12 years. I cannot thank Ingrid and her colleagues enough for their continued support and for finding me such a fantastic company to work for!
I got a call from Ingird about 3 weeks ago, she had a job opportunity for me, she was so rude, swearing at me like we are mates, and really poorly spoken in general, she then sent me the application form to apply for the position and I did not hear back from her again after chasing and waiting for an update. Honestly I would give this review a 0 star rating if I could, Ingrid's service does not deserve any stars, people like this just prove to you that they do not care about getting you a new job and help you start a new chapter they are only bothered about themselves - Good work guys, keep up the awful, lazy rude work :
Joyce Guiness stood out miles apart for me from the other agencies in my job search, I was blown away at the care and sincerity that I was met with at the end of the phone by the consultants. It went far further then just helping me find a job, they possessed a general interest in me as a person . A real testament to each and every person working there, couldn't recommend this agency enough.
I dealt with Lucy, and I was only on their books for less than 2 weeks before I landed my dream job! She was incredibly professional, kind and helpful throughout the whole experience- she made looking for a new Job a much less stressful and actually quite enjoyable experience! Thank you JG x
Out of all the agencies I have applied for work with, this was the worse experience I have encountered. Unless you are white, middle-class and private school educated, you will not fit in. It would not surprise me if they are subtly anti-ethnic minorities. The recruitment consultant Ingrid was rude, condescending and patronising. Instead of giving constructive criticism, she was just plain disrespectful. and ill-mannered about my CV. I am university educated with good GCSEs and A-levels. I have worked as a receptionist, personal assistant and teacher in secondary schools and then a journalist. How dare they to speak nasty words about my CV? I wanted advice, which I am happy to accept, instead of feeling humiliated.. When performing the spelling and proof reading task, she had a go at me for taking too long. I was never informed of any time limit. Considering I am a qualified secondary school English teacher and journalist. I take my time in order, to ensure I make the right corrections. Instead, I was treated like like an dim-witted imbecile. Your staff need more training to learn emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, which they clearly lack. I found the agency to be a bunch of snobs. You need a plumy queen's English accent and a preparatory school education to be accepted on their books. Instead of taking their time to find out your potential and help you find work, they are more interested in the financial gain from sending you to job interviews. They even had a go at me, for arriving 45 minutes early for a job interview. It was a bad experience.overall. Good luck signing up with Joyce Guinness!
