My wife and I travelled to celebrate our anniversary 17/03/23. We had a wonderful time place really buzzing with people celebrating St Paddy's day. Our room was spotless and spacious, the food was amazing, and staff so friendly. It was our first time at Denvir's and we will definitely return.
Hotel has been recently done up I believe, I stayed in the Finnebrouge room and the facilities were great. Extra towels, tissues and tea facilities available on the landing also which was a nice touch. Staff were lovely and breakfast the next morning was great. Also worth mentioning, they have a lovely pint of Guinness
Had a lovely meal however the cheesecake was a huge disappointment. Came in a glass the base was quite difficult to get to and the topping was really an extra large dollop of cream a bit sickening to eat at all.when priced at £6 you expect something really nice. The other sweets were very acceptable.table also was uneven friend stuck napkin to steady should be noticed beforehand by staff
Well located at the bottom of English Street. We went in for a quick bite to eat, but were disappointed. Very little choice for coeliacs, and it seemed to offer just 'pub grub' as a hotel we expected a little more. We opted for the chicken wings and chips. Chicken wings were good you really can't go wrong with them, but the chips were raw in the middle. The biggest problem we encountered was when the couple left the table beside us, the staff cleared the table. When setting it again, they put the cutlery onto the chair that previous customer had been sitting on while they gave the table a quick wipe, then put the cutlery on the table. I'm sorry, but that's disgusting! I won't be eating there again.
Excellent room and great service were experienced during our stay at this beautiful hotel which is centrally located and in walking distance of everything in Downpatrick, with the added bonus of a great pint, will definitely be returning Rooms: Modern spacious rooms, comfortable bedding with Internet and TV and a quality en suite Food & drinks: Food was excellent everytime and the pint was top notch
From I arrived until I left I cannot fault the hotel Staff very friendly and attentive Food was beautiful and well priced Hotel was full of character Would definitely return again
Stayed in the Denvirs Coaching Inn last week for a wedding in Finnebrogue Woods. What a time we had. Chris from Denvirs was an absolute star. He transferred us to the venue and brought us all back to the hotel again. We had my father and mother in law with us and he took them home when they wanted to leave, much later than we had expected !! The rest of us partied till closing time whenever that was. This place is a wee gem. It will take you back in time with a modern twist. Would highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Chris and the team. Absolutely brilliant time with our stay .
Stayed overnight with friends recently. Had a few beers in the snug followed by a wonderful meal in the bar. Lovely surroundings and atmosphere, but what made the night was the staff - everyone was so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Icing on the cake was the fab breakfast. We all had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend it.
Lovely little hotel! Room nice and spacious with a really comfy bed. Breakfast is fantastic too.Rooms: 5/5
Location was fairly convenient to town and bus station and rooms were clean. My wife has a service dog and the hotel was definitely not supportive of this disability support. We were told we could only use hotel facilities if we were completely isolated from other patrons which was disheartening, not to mention not legal. At night from early in the evening until 2 in the morning directly above us there were constant loud noises like furniture being moved or some heavy objects being constantly dropped on the ground, which didn't support a great night's sleep.
